Occupy Rally Shuts Down Shipping Port Indefinitely (OWS destroying jobs they pretend to want)

Occupy Wall Street protesters declared victory after thousands of demonstrators shut down one of the nation's busiest shipping ports late Wednesday, escalating a movement whose tactics had largely been limited to marches, rallies and tent encampments since it began in September.

As a voice over a bullhorn said "The night is not over, yet," protest organizers told demonstrators to head back to the downtown plaza where the Oakland movement has been based for more than a month. The Occupy encampment across the street from City Hall also was the scene of intense clashes with authorities last week.

The nearly 5-hour protest at the Port of Oakland, the nation's fifth-busiest shipping port, was intended to highlight a daylong "general strike" in the city, which prompted solidarity rallies in New York, Los Angeles and other cities across the nation.

They apparently only want ‘jobs’ that the government ‘creates’ for them. ‘Jobs’ that allow them to do whatever THEY want to do whenever THEY want to do it while receiving a ‘living wage’ from OTHER people’s taxes.

“Although windows at two bank branches and a Whole Foods store were broken and graffiti was painted inside one of the banks, officials described the protests as peaceful and orderly and said no arrests had been made.”

Who are these anonymous “officals”?

NPR gushing out their marxist propaganda at taxpayers expense.

Most of them actually only seem to want their student loans paid. I don’t think “jobs” are really part of the equation for them.

This is just a training exercise for the 2012 elections.
Their goal will be to keep as many Americans from voting against the Zero by intimidation, chaos and violence.

Our Constitution affilrms our right of peacable assembly to seek redress of wrongs from the government. It does not mention any right to destroy commerce. It should take less than an hour to reopen the port.

Those who belived that civilization would recreate itself if we leave these neanderthals together long enough were wrong. The only thing evolving at these camps is new strains of VD. They are a dead end on the evolutionary charts.

This is giving importers another reason (besides high labor costs) to bring the Asian stuff in thru Mexico and up thru Texas.

You cannot make me believe that this shit is not supported and planned at the highest levels of the Government,i.e., the White House and orders have not gone out to all City and State officials not to interfere with the participants.

If they want a job, it is as a school administrator. Where they can sit at a desk and surf the internet, play games, tweet, cruise Facebook, and alter the grades of kids who haven't been taught squat, so the school system becomes a "model" of educational excellence.

Y'know? Every time I see this image lately, I remember the final, climactic scene in Taxi Driver. The bit where Travis Bickle goes to clean up the pimp-garbage. He is stopped at the door, turns to walk away, and finally turns back to the thug at the door and says "Suck on this [BLANK]hole." and gut-shoots the thug with a .38

Granted it was only a movie and Bickle was certifiably crazy, but I see the crazy level everywhere increasing. I fear it won't take a lot of thugs at the door to push some real-life borderline crazy into total Bicklehood...

I'm hoping there will be a lot of real Americans who meet the "enemy" at that door, and wipe the scumbags off the earth.
