A Republican source who was at the dinner in which pollster Chris Wilson says Herman Cain sexually harassed a young staffer is contradicting the account, telling CBS News he never saw Cain sexually harass anyone that night, although he does remember Cain drinking.
"I did not see a lech," the source said.
Wilson, who was doing polling for the Restaurant Association during Cain's tenure, told an Oklahoma radio station yesterday: "This all occurred at a restaurant in Crystal City [Virginia] and everybody was very aware of it. And so it is, it was only a matter of time because so many people were aware of what took place, so many people were aware of her situation, the fact that she left after this, that it was, it was a-everybody knew with the campaign that this would eventually come up.
But the source said he "didn't remember (Cain) doing anything" at the dinner, which he said was at a Ruth Chris' steakhouse in Crystal City, Virginia. The source said Cain "may have been a little drunk," but he didn't see anything inappropriate--and added that he never heard anyone discuss anything inappropriate that may have occurred. He said about a half dozen people were there.

It’s all left to interpretation...What one person says the other is thinking something off center, which in turn makes that person feel uncomfortable. I highly doubt any of this bs from these women are substantiated.

I wondered why Wilson would not name the “at least three other people” who were there. Now we know why. Because they would not be able to corroborate his story.
A “severance pay” settlement or agreement.
Not a “sexual harassment”, legal court case, settlement.
I’m not saying one doesn’t exist, but right now we don’t know that, and you do not need to play loose and hard with the facts.
as for a third woman...she is totally immaterial, she didn't file any proof of anything so she can ‘cry a river’ now and move on...

I heard Cain on Hannity. I like Cain and want to believe him, and for this all to blow over, but he’s getting too much into the nitty-gritty of all this. He has to defend himself, but it doesn’t look presidential to be blaming the Perry camp. He needs to stop talking, IMHO.

settlements are made every day in the business world...its cheaper than fighting a bunch of slutty women...and they are nasty story tellers and dreamers...

Herb has twice made a point that he drinks only wine. I think we are learning why that is. Three women later and counting, two settlements, in a three year stint, before shuffling down to the padded room with a microphone to do radio. From the board room to the sound room seems an odd transition on a career path.
I agree. If questioned about this fiasco I would like to see him smile and say, “Never happened. Nest question”.

I bet Mr. Cain does drink.... but I am willing to bet that he doesn’t smoke crack in the back of a Limo while getting a Lewinski from a convicted felon. Sure that was just an allegation by Mr. Sinclair much like the allegations of these anonymous women, but I never heard the media ask Obami to prove that it didn’t happen ... like they are pestering Mr. Cain to do...

It is starting to get hilarious out there, isn’t it? Everyone trying to make this lemon into lemonade. A sticky process, but humorous to watch the flailing and knashing of teeth. LOL! Poor Herb. He’s stepped into it this time on one power trip too many.
