A Republican source who was at the dinner in which pollster Chris Wilson says Herman Cain sexually harassed a young staffer is contradicting the account, telling CBS News he never saw Cain sexually harass anyone that night, although he does remember Cain drinking.
"I did not see a lech," the source said.
Wilson, who was doing polling for the Restaurant Association during Cain's tenure, told an Oklahoma radio station yesterday: "This all occurred at a restaurant in Crystal City [Virginia] and everybody was very aware of it. And so it is, it was only a matter of time because so many people were aware of what took place, so many people were aware of her situation, the fact that she left after this, that it was, it was a-everybody knew with the campaign that this would eventually come up.
But the source said he "didn't remember (Cain) doing anything" at the dinner, which he said was at a Ruth Chris' steakhouse in Crystal City, Virginia. The source said Cain "may have been a little drunk," but he didn't see anything inappropriate--and added that he never heard anyone discuss anything inappropriate that may have occurred. He said about a half dozen people were there.

I can’t believe this second source never went to the men’s room or whatever. And if it is the same night that the woman supposedly ended up in Cain’s apartment, the group was said to have split into two at some point.
If he didn’t drop his draws and tell her to kiss it he’s good to go....
It’s a vicious game these days.. things change, things stay the same..
This is either different nights, or someone is lying or misremembered.
The sources for the story on PJMedia (where she allegedly woke up in Cain's apartment) say that they were at a different restaurant: Ciao Baby Cucina. But, that's in downtown DC, not VA.

Not the same event. Dang!!! Wilson was not around when the woman was seperated, he said he did not know who she was. But we do know Wilson is currently on Perry’s payroll, and has an office in Austin, texas.
Mrs. Butterworth just anonymously reported that Cain asked how tall Molly Mcbutter was and Betty Crocker got jealous.

Someone is racist! I’m just sayin because that is exactly what they would be saying if this were 0bama...and we all know it would never be 0bama because the media wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole. So basically its not okay to be racist to the half black guy but to the real black guy....no race card applies.
Amen, and now they’ve changed the name of the restaurant. There is a first person witness to B.O. sitting in the back seat of a limo and getting serviced, orally, by the witness while doing a line of coke (the powered kind). This first person witness came forward, named himself, made himself availabe for interviews, and couldn’t get 2 minutes of coverage from the network suits, but look what they’re doing to Cain with a bunch of “un-named sources”. This whole thing makes me so sick that I don’t even care if he did it or not. He’s gonna get my support, all the way.
My gut tells me go with Cain on this. Something about this whole mess screams set-up and/or much ado about nothing.

“Can’t remember” from a dinner 12 years ago is not really a strong defense.

If he was drunk, then yes he was. But, you seem to assume that Cain is guilty...why is that? I think I saw you harass someone at a restaurant once...prove otherwise. And, I don’t know who you are is really a weak/predictable defense.
Weak. This is not much of a boost to the Cain side. Wilson had said someone finally told Cain to cool it, that it was embarrassing.
I think we are going to discover why Herb likes to make it clear that he drinks only wine now. After three short years as corporate hound and after lifting the company of 80 grand to the two girls and with now reportedly a third talking, Cain needs to sober up and stick with his wine.
Who would hire him with the baggage? This is why he went into the padded room with a microphone to do radio. I always thought that was a weird transition from the board roomm to the sound room.
