A lot of this has the aura of the famous scene in the movie Casablanca when the French police chief is shocked, shocked to see gambling going on.
There are a lot of folks with competing political campaigns posting here. And campaigns use paid bloggers when they can’t find enough useful idiots to do the work for them. The perrywinkles at FR are about the nastiest of the lot, and their campaign is the one that stands accused of skulduggery.
Accusing the perry campaign of skulduggery is kind of like accusing the sun of rising in the east and setting in the west, but I digress...
It isn’t standing policy at FR to zot perrywinkles, so it looks like we’ll just have to endure their bullmitt for the time being. So expect lots of hand wringing comments and “grave concern” over this until it blows over in about a week. Just remember, though, that since the story broke polls have shown Cain’s numbers holding their own. The people who actually vote don’t seem to care about this.
