The Jewish Home party is facing growing pressure over the threat to Jewish homes in Judea and Samaria, with residents of the region calling on MKs to make their issue make-or-break for the coalition.
The Yesha (Judea and Samaria) Council voted unanimously Thursday to call on Jewish Home MKs to make it clear that if a Jewish town or neighborhood is destroyed, they will leave Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahus government. Yesha Council head Danny Dayan called party head Minister Daniel Hershkowitz and faction head MK Uri Orbach to inform them of the councils decision.
Orbach and Dayan agreed to bring the Jewish Home and Yesha Council together Monday for a meeting in which the latter group will present its demands.
Its beyond belief that families could be thrown into the streets, entire towns could be destroyed needlessly, and a religious-Zionist party could bear partial responsibility, Dayan told Arutz Sheva. We do not want to break up the coalition, but we have an obligation to prevent this expulsion.
In the meantime, residents of communities under threat are not waiting for the Yesha Council, but rather, have taken their own steps to seek the Jewish Home partys support. Minister Hershkowitz will spend the Sabbath with families from Givat Assaf at his doorstep.
The families traveled from their homes in the Binyamin region to Hershkowitzs home in Haifa in order to draw attention to their plight and to hint at the pressure that the Jewish Home will face if it allows demolitions in Judea and Samaria to continue.

Why aren’t they destroying illegal Arab homes. there are thousands. Bulldoze them now and put thousands of Jewish families who need a home under a roof.
Aren't all these people armed? Time for some Mexican standoffs
A Mexican standoff might lead to bloodshed, and that would be literal fratricide, plus an open invitation to the Arabs both in and out of Israel to commit murder and mayhem.
The best possible alternative to that would be for Ihud Leumi to leave the coalition. If no government can be formed without Lieberman and Ketzele, and they won’t stay in a government that destroys Jewish homes, then no politician will dare destroy Jewish homes. An example should be made of Bibi. Neither Labor nor Kadima can take advantage of an election at this point, and if it results in a gain for Ihud/Beiteinu, of even one or two seats, that would be a triumph even if Likud stays in power. We might actually see the back of Ehud Barak as a consiliatory gesture.
The Arabs have NGOs, international observers, leftist “activists,” all out to protect them from those evil, oppressive Jooos! So nobody touches them. They have “protektsia”. Mitnahalim (”settlers”) had better grab our own protektsia and fast. For that, Ihud/Beiteinu was founded. They go into Bedouin camps to recover stolen live stock. Let them show some more of that courage now, and leave the coalition if there’s so much as one more demolition.

if Jews in Israel don’t start having more kids none of this will matter in 50 years
kinda like White Christians in America

Oh, we’ve started. As the population grows more religious, we make more babies. It grows more religious as more immigrants come and as more Tel Aviv-ites have epiphanies, and as the multiple babies of the previous generation of religious Israelis grow up and make more babies.
