I’m in Ponca City OK... near OK/Kansas boarder, and YES!... I felt the ground shake.
Definitely an earthquake, and it was my very first

First Oklahoma, now us? What in the world, I thought not moving to Missouri would leave me out of the Madrid fault issues!
I was sleeping on the couch while hubby was watching football. It was loud enough to wake me up. Hubby said the whole house was moving.

There was a 4.7 last night in Prague OK (just east of OKC).
I experienced that one too, but it was just the cabinets that rattled for about 20 seconds.
This time (11:00 pm next day) I felt the earth shaking under my feet.

Yes, we did have one here in extreme southeast Kansas. About equal to one I felt here in the early/mid eighties.

Just barely felt it in Manhattan, wouldn’t have identified it as an earthquake if the time hadn’t coincided with the USGS report of the 5.2 near Sparks, OK.

Several people have reported feeling it here in West Central Il according to their facebook post. I didn’t feel it but my daughter that lives in Ok City sure did.
To: teenyelliott
You should have been drunk.
They’re way more fun when you’re drunk.

I am north of Dallas, Tx in Frisco, Tx...and I was sitting on the toilet...I know...too funny, but the toilet felt like it was rocking forward and back, and at first I thought it was my medication, because I took something for a back ache...then I sat on the couch and read this!
Dang...we are having a lot of earthquakes in unusual places...just like the Bible talks about...Hmmmm?
