It was the best debate I have ever seen!
It was a semi-interesting show. It was not a debate. To bill it as anything similar to Lincoln-Douglas is laughable. It was a symposium featuring two candidates who promise not to “play gotcha”, i.e., debate or disagree.
Good stuff! Bring it on!
I agree, see my post in #23. I am sick of watching teenage cat-fights. I want those who run for office to tell me why they are the best, and what their plan is, not sit and rag on someone else and tear them down. I know we all do that at some time or another, but I don’t need one politician to argue with another one to try and convince me of what I want. Then again, I’m not in the “Stupid” crowd who knows very little and has to be told who to support, and many (not all, but many) of those who only learn anything from the television are mindless sheeple. It’s time that those of us who are informed start leading instead of being led. And I think these two men were leaders last night in a bright new era of politics in the United Stated of America.
