TAIPEI — The crew of a Taiwanese fishing vessel fought against armed Somali pirates to retake their ship after it was hijacked off East Africa, Taiwan authorities said Sunday.
The 290-tonne Chin Yi Wen with a crew of 28, including nine Chinese, eight Filipinos, six Indonesians and five Vietnamese, had been out of contact since Friday, the foreign ministry said.
But the crew managed to overwhelm the six armed pirates and retake control of their ship.

The Somali pirates fell into the sea, Tsay said, quoting the fishing boat owner, adding that details of the saga and the fate of the six pirates were not immediately clear.

Boy, I'll bet they did. "Accidentally" hogtied and chained too, I would guess. Good riddance.
It's time for a blockade on the entire coastline of Somalia. Any boat leaving port to be instantly sunk, as well as all the other boats in the same port.
The deck must have been wet and they slipped. Wouldn't be surprised if they were trying to steal some heavy pieces of metal had had it tied to their necks when the slipped.
Understand they were commies, but brutal combatants.
I always admired fierce little soldiers. Like the Gurkhas and their skill with the kukri.
That is how the pirates should be handled.
Not brought here and treated like citizens by the corrupt DOJ and supported by taxpayers for the rest of their lives with a probable pardon from Holder and guaranteed citizenship from Obama and free education from Perry.
Of course the crew probably helped them to "fall". If more pirates "fell" into the sea there would be a lot less pirating going on.

and we were taking on water and had to dump all our chum, too.
Really, they just fell into the sea....We don’t know what happened to them after that...LOL...
This is why the Asians are kicking our arses in the West right now....they’re still a bit barbarous.
