It is no exaggeration to say that on Sundays in Washington during the administrations of Thomas Jefferson (1801-1809) and of James Madison (1809-1817) the state became the church. Within a year of his inauguration, Jefferson began attending church services in the House of Representatives. Madison followed Jefferson's example, although unlike Jefferson, who rode on horseback to church in the Capitol, Madison came in a coach and four. Worship services in the House--a practice that continued until after the Civil War--were acceptable to Jefferson because they were nondiscriminatory and voluntary. Preachers of every Protestant denomination appeared. (Catholic priests began officiating in 1826.) As early as January 1806 a female evangelist, Dorothy Ripley, delivered a camp meeting-style exhortation in the House to Jefferson, Vice President Aaron Burr, and a "crowded audience." Throughout his administration Jefferson permitted church services in executive branch buildings. The Gospel was also preached in the Supreme Court chambers.

He is a muzzie. No questions or doubts in my mind. His bows to his bosses in the middle east. His ignoring the Day of Prayer. His kissing the muzzie butts all over town. Yup. He is a muzzie. He never left the cult. No Christian fights for homosexual rights. ALL believers in the Lord and His Word KNOW that homosexuality is WRONG. Don't care what they say. God says NO! God says THY SHALL NOT!! You don't like it? Tough. Ignore His Word. Expect to pay an eternal price. Simple as that. Not trying to be mean, hateful, whatever. Just telling the Truth. I don't hate homosexuals. I pray for their lost eternal souls. I hate their sin.

Robert Abbey was confirmed as Director of the Bureau of Land Management on August 7, 2009. Abbey served for more than 32 years in public service working with state and federal land management agencies before retiring from the federal government in July 2005.

He served eight years as the Nevada State Director for the U. S. Bureau of Land Management, providing direction and oversight for 48 million acres of public land managed by the bureau in the state. He oversaw a staff of 700 employees in eight field offices and the state office and managed an annual operating budget of $51 million.

I agree with the slant the article takes; considering that President Franklin D. Roosevelt is a Democrat icon, the Obama administration flunky - Robert Abbey - is embarrassed by FDR's saying a prayer to God and thus, hopes to keep it out of public sight - or memory. I hope he fails.

As for the question "is the Obama administration anti-Christian for opposing the inclusion of Roosevelt's D-Day prayer at the FDR memorial", the answer is, clearly, yes, they are - but the Obama administration's anti-Christian bigotry goes far beyond this one simple plaque. They are virulently anti-Christian as well as anti-American - and that comes from the top. Whether Obama is a Muslim or not, I don't know. What I do know is that he is anti-Christian and loathes our constitutional republic. Electing this Marxist was probably the worst mistake our people have ever made, and we're all paying for it.

The only doubt in my mind is whether ObaMao is a full-fledged religious Islamofacist or just a cultural Islamofacist. It is a distinction with little difference other than the fact that the religious variety will personally cut your throat whereas the cultural variety will just get somebody else to do it.

There are example after example of anti-Christian bias from Barry and his administration.

The lastest being down here in Houston where the head of the Veterans Memorial Cemetery would not allow Christian prayer which Barry supported because they would not change policy until taken to court where they lost and were reprimanded.
