Excellent point, but don't you see, that is just one more proof of how carefully crafted this lie is: can't have any of the action taking place in the hotel because she has to avoid any appearance that she was the one making the play or that she would clearly have understood why she was in a hotel room with someone else's husband after a fine dinner. See, if it's Herman's room, everyone can say "well, you knew exactly why he asked and you agreed to go to the room". If it's her room, everyone can say, "you must have invited him there and, if you did, you gave the clear impression that you expected a sexual liaison. In hotel rooms, you have to explain a lot of details about how a man gets so close to you that he can reach up your skirt or pull your head down, without your having allowed him to get into your personal space. In a car, the dynamic is completely different: There is no suggestion that you put yourself in a situation likely to lead to a sexual encounter, there is no suggestion that you arranged the circumstances to provoke a sexual situation and you can explain away in a perfectly plausible manner how the man got close enough to be able to make physical contact in a sexually explicit manner. It's all too perfect. That's what's really wrong with this story: it's so airtight in terms of no possibility of witnesses, no suggestion that she actually made the play, etc. Just too damn perfect to be believed. Um.. the evidence that is beyond question is a woman was paid a large sum of money to shut up about Cain... now you can spin that as just someone trolling for cash, but that’s a fact.
Fact, Cain said no money was paid out to women.. now this is not true. MOney was paid, he claimed ignorance, which is possible, but as I said if he wants to be president he should have KNOWN this was out there.

Um... hello. His employer PAID OUT nearly 50,000 to a woman over allegations against him. Had he done his own due dillegence he should have known about this and been prepared to answer about it before even starting his campaign in earnest.
He should have know this was out there, should have known he was going to be questioned about it and should have had an answer for it. He struck out completely on this, missed all three, and then flailed around.
