That's 100,000 year long Ice Ages filled with a fantastically huge 2 mile deep ice sheet across ALL of Canada and most of the USA above the 40th parallel!

There's been a regular 10,000 to 15,000 year break in the ice (called an interglacial) 20 different times since this cycle started about 2.5 million years ago.

Look to Baffin Island for the signs ~ that's where the flow starts that destroys the City of Chicago!

Or are there things even glaciers won’t touch?

My mistake. You are absolutely right. Ice ages last 100,000 years or more. And they are lot harder on the precious “biosphere” than are periods of warming. Any scientist who wasn’t whoring his opinions to the commies would readily confirm that fact.
