Sort of a limbo state while things come to light?

Exactly. Then there is the curious disappearance of the man, Crigar, who was investigating Sandusky in 2002. Mafia ties helping out Joe Pa perhaps? This whole thing gets more disgusting by the minute. Rampant corruption and evil.

After reading the GJ report I want to vomit.

1. Penn State MUST clean house:

The President on down to the Mike McQueery. That includes Joe Paterno and any and everyone else who allowed this monster on campus. Mike McQueery saw a 10 year old boy being raped in the ass and walked away. HE WALKED AWAY! Flush the entire turf filled toilet.

2. Men and Boys should not shower together.

I am one of four boys and the father of three sons. I never showered with my father and never showered with my sons. If you see a grown man and a young child in a shower together INTERVENE! It can’t be right.

3. Pedophiles are shameless, dangerous, and relentless.

At this moment, free on bail, Jerry Sandusky is plotting, planning, and fantasizing about raping a young boy. THAT IS WHAT PEDOPHILES DO! They will never stop unless forced to stop. In his warped mind, Sandusky believes he will be able to talk his way out of this.

Seeing him be interviewed outside his home was surreal. Standing there in a PENN STATE jacket “lawyering up” when asked: “Are you guilty of these charges?”. Instead of NO!!!!!!!, he answers, my lawyer told me I can’t answer questions.

GUILTY!, GUILTY!, GUILTY!,

I use to belong to a health club (racquetball, weights, basketball, swimming pool, etc) and there were male members who brought their sons into the men's locker room and shower. They would come into the shower with their sons. So what were we, the other men supposed to do? I never though much about it because there were so many others around that anything unusual would have never been possible. So I'm not completely sure about what you say. But in general I tend to agree with you. Have you seen the same at a health club?

Being an alumni, I’ve disowned PSU ever since they covered up for the Michael Mann scandal. The entire administration has been corrupted.

You know, when I first heard about this I figured “grad student” Mike McQueery was a young guy, maybe 22 (which is bad enough) but today I heard that he was 28 at the time. 28! To hell with calling the cops or his Dad or Paterno or anybody else - - first thing, step into that shower and slap Sandusky’s old skull until he pulls out, like hosing off a dog in heat in the back yard. Then, make him stay there until the cops arrive.

No pass for McQueery on this, that’s for sure.

And homo hugger Spanier - - how did he escape indictment (so far)?

I agree with you - the other night I posted about this wondering why the grad student didn’t immediately stop the old perv from harming the child! Why didn’t he call the police? Why did his own father tell him not to call the police? Then once Paterno told his boss, why didn’t he follow up? The whole thing stinks

Now, we all know that that player’s team mates would kick his butt for his honesty, but, to knowingly accept an incomplete pass as complete to me is horse-hockey . . .

You're a moron.

No need to talk like a moron or to call people names. I think this whole "athletics builds character" crap is very highly overrated.

I acknowledge that the football player should take advantage of what he gets, but, on the other hand don't have JoPa or any other asshat coach tell me that sports builds character. I think they'd do far better learning in the classroom rather than preening and prancing on a football field.

I suspect that if the college sports didn't cater to some of these clowns and if the NFL didn't employ these crybabies as players, most of them would be in prison. Is the implication that if you're NOT an athlete, you're going to be a moral cripple?

You're a little bit hasty to call people names.

Isn't it curious how all the stories decline to use the phrase "homosexual pedophile"? All of the homosexual pedophile Sandusky's victims were boys. You would think the headlines would blare, PREDATORY HOMOSEXUAL PEDOPHILE ARRESTED AT PENN STATE. In fact, maybe I'll start a thread so freepers cans bump the title.

It's time to boycott the Big 10 network; Big 10 games.

The Big 10 has openly sanctioned/harbored the pedophile culture for over 50 years...in fact, has enshrined the top pedophile facilitators.

How Alfred C. Kinsey’s Sex Studies Have Harmed Women and Children [Big 10 harbors perp culture]

Frankly what's needed is the same approach Stanford University took in the 70s when its A.D. refused to schedule any athletic matches vs. BYU because of BYU's harboring of racist policies.

We need bold courageous moral A.D.s who will stop scheduling their teams to play Penn State and Indiana University because of their open sanctioning of the pedophile culture.

I completely agree with you. Paterno should have been put out to pasture years ago. The local news stations are blowing this up here in western PA where the University of Pittsburgh is the school of choice. Years of coverup extending right to the PSU president, Graham Spanier. They all should be fired, starting with Paterno.

This article is very badly written and hard to read.

Then just start about page 6 of the Grand Jury Presentment. It's double-spaced, and by page 10 . . . you'll be outraged.

omigosh, I always thought Paterno was one of the good guys.

I really hope he knew nothing about this.

But I’m afraid his reputation is tarnished forever now.

I’m more worried about the boys than about the reputation of a football coach or program.
