Going through the story that was laid out in the press conference today by Sharon Bialek, Levin has found a few ‘problems’ that necessitate more information. He said earlier in the show that he was unable to get Gloria Allred to book her client on his show, so he’s basically left with just questions that need answers. One such question is why, after Cain had already ‘upgraded’ Bialek’s hotel room and then took her out to eat at an Italian restaurant would Cain then ask Bialek why she was meeting with him. Another question would be why he took her to the NRA to show her around if she had already worked there before? And there’s more.
Levin makes clear he’s not suggesting one way or the other the potential outcome of this story, who is guilty and who isn’t, but that he just believes her story doesn’t quite make sense and thus he would like to ask her a few questions.

Totally agree, South. I always enjoy your posts and insight. But you might consider adding 3 more words to your tagline - “and Barack Obama”.
I agree with your suggestion so I have emended my tagline but added a more descriptive term for the current occupier of the White House.

That’s fine, but why don’t conservatives work to put this out to the MASSES like DBM does when they bombard with the liars’ side of the story. Kurtis at least should do this out of respect for the truth. The public at large either doesn’t know who Mark Levin is, or will shut him out as a conservative.
FNC needs to be made aware of the Kurtis thing and get it out there. Someone like Hannity or Dick Morris would - they both really like Herman. And no, websites aren’t enough - this needs to be covered on TV, multiple times.

Bill Kurtis is a prestigious and very credible man, IMO. He was exec producer of A&E and hosted/narrated at least two great series on there - Cold Case Files and Investigative Reports.

There are many more examples that I won’t pollute this thread with as I’m sure you have your own. But we have a real fight on our hands. There are many FReepers who I believe are working to tear Herman Cain down so Romney will get the nomination. We must do our best to see that they fail.

I see mitt’s hands all over this - it’s his mo.
Perry trying to take out Cain is ridiculous. Perry is polling lower than Mitt and Newt - to take out the top guy is utter nonsense - it fails on some many levels and that ‘thought’ is coming from the Mitt camp, also - take out two for the price of one. Go after one behind the scenes and blame it on the other as the conman tries to appears ‘holy’. It could only work on those who aren’t thinking for themselves or just refuse to think because they dislike Perry to being with. That’s the problem with being loyal to one candidate now - their thinking isn’t clear - it’s can’t be - it’s already slanted.
This is Mitt - no doubt about it. Mitt is so sure of himself - he thinks if Cain weren’t in the race - he’d be top dog. From the beginning the media had Mitt in top place when very few made any decision. His numbers are false - just like he is.
I’m not backing anyone now but I do appreciate Perry going after Mitt and how did the media report this and so many feel in like with that thinking - Perry wasn’t acting presidential, he was bickering. Amazing - the only one that went after Mitt and the media turned the tables on him for it. When I see the rest go after him - then I will know - they know/admit/despise his left leaning policies as much as I and will go after the real enemy - if they can’t fight Mitt, they could never fight barry for he is barry lite. However, I will mention Santorum for he did go after Mitt.

Good gosh - this is supposed to be a conservative website! Seriously, though - do they think he could ever defeat BHO (The Wan)???
I get Bill Buckley’s philosophy and, in the case of a really BAD incumbent (like BHO), agree with it - he always said he voted for the most conservative candidate who can get elected. But in the case of Romney, not only is he NOT a conservative, but I think he’d suck in debating BHO and would lose. I wasn’t impressed last time, either. But, while I realize the majority of voters probably aren’t as conservative as you and I, Herman just has it all - the complete package. His charisma equals (or surpasses) BHO’s AND he’s infinitely more articulate off script than BHO could ever hope to be. He’d be killer in debating The Wan. And he really strikes a chord with people across the spectrum.
Everyone, especially here, should circle the wagons around Herman. But as you say, they all don’t. This stream of women coming out (or saying they’re coming out) troubles me, but he did a killer press conference today. I just pray he can still focus despite this unimaginable strain.
