Police said seven children, most of whom are very young, could have died because their mothers left them home alone inside a freezing house. Court documents showed their mothers, 37-year-old Maria and 27-year-old Karina Media, were drunk at a party while their children were home trying to survive the night. Police said they found an 18-month-old baby sitting in a car seat. They said they also found children, some as young as 3 and 4 years old wrapped in blankets inside the mobile home with a broken heater.
Their mothers should be stripped of their kids. Criminal neglect is unconscionable.
It’s stories like this that really upset me. I don’t know exactly the word I would use, because it’s not simple anger. It’s anger, frustration, disbelief all wrapped into one. I really am sick of parents and women especially (because of late it seems like every other day I hear about the microwaving or drowning of babies by their mothers), who have a bunch of kids at home, while they are out partying, likely making more. I’m tired of both deadbeat moms and dads. If the government would quit incentivising broken families, I imagine we’d see a lot less of this.
My sister has her two grandkids pretty much all the time because my niece is a moron who is more interested in party time than mothering.
It beats the alternatives.
I seem to recall a scripture about offending one of these little ones, and the example of a millstone around the neck and a trip to the bottom of the sea being better than the punishment that awaited them.
I know. My parent’s raised two of my sister’s kids because all she wanted to do was party also, and the state took them from her. She was one bad egg, all her life, though. I worked with a woman once, a few years ago, who wanted to “hang out” with me at my place so as to not be with her kids, who varied in age from 4-15, and had either 3 or 4 fathers. The first child was from an unmarried relatinship she had out of highschool. The second was from a different man, who she briefly married. She was unsure of the father of the third child, because while she was married, she has at least one drunken orgy. The fourth child was from a travelling salesman whose condom broke. She knew only his name. I was upset that the kids had to fend for themselves, because to them they were little more than pets. It’s sick and disgusting the things that go on today.
Stripping these mothers of their kids would be a reward for them.
But you are right.
Booze and drugs make animals out of addicts.
The Left’s post Christian vulgarian society sucks.
Agreed. There’s a real war on the family, and it started with the feminist push in teaching women to be irresponsible and to sleep around to display their “independence.” That was one of the communist goals, IIRC, now taught in public schools. Now men are being feminized in the second stage of the breakup. Neither is the man without the woman, nor the woman without the man, as the saying goes.
We are all sinners, each and every one of us. Its only when we are taught morals and make a choice to follow them that the animal is suppressed.
F*ck no. Send them all back.
I raised my nephews to save them from their drug-addled, mentally ill mother. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
Whiny Voice: “But what about my Reproductive Rights?”
Whatever, beotches. It works both ways in my book.
Thanks, but I doubt it. Stuff like this should make us angry. Not just angry at the women involved, certainly they are at fault. Also angry at the parents of these women and the culture which encourages this kind of behavior. Call it whatever you want the left has been attacking our morals and cultural values for a long long time.
Personally, I blame the baby boomers for allowing the leftists to get a foothold in the universities. If you control what children are taught you define the next generation. What happened to these little children is only a symptom of the breakdown of our great nation.
I like your quote and agree it does reflect many of the people in our country today.
That's just so dumb it's amazing. I was born in 1946. Of course, in 1945 there were no progressives, socialists or communists in universities.

Actually its not, you were out partying while they took control.
There were plenty of communists in 1945, there were even nazi’s in the USA. They just weren’t out in the open. They were prior to WWII but not after.
