Mondays Gloria Allred-assisted bombshell about Herman Cain is inspiring a wide range of reactions from all corners of the American political landscape. Liberals are occupying the narrow dynamic range between we-told-you-so and general Schaddenfreude. But conservatives positions seem decidedly mixed. This shouldnt be so.
Everything should have changed Monday for future Republican primary voters, even for die-hard riders of the Cain Train.
What was previously a smattering of anonymous sexual harassment accusations has now become a very specific allegation of sexual assault. And what had suggested a tenuous analogy to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas now evokes a firm President Clinton déjà vu.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion.
I think supporters of every candidate would say the same thing. Their candidate had nothing but a desire to save our country, to do something good and important. And instead, their acheivements are trashed, their personal lives mocked, their character assassinated -- by other conservatives looking to prop up THEIR candidates.
Of course, if you ask those trashing the candidates, they will insist that the candidate is really a lying rino sleezeball who needs to be torn down for the good of the conservative movement.
So there you have it.
