NBC News: No 'Grand Wizard' in GOP to Force Cain Out
foxnews.com ^ | November 9, 2011 | foxnews.com

Posted on 11/09/2011 1:12:53 PM PST by Dubya-M-DeesWent2SyriaStupid!

ANN CURRY, CO-HOST, "TODAY" SHOW: "He's not stepping down, continuing to suck the air out of the narrative the Republican party really wants to tell. Does the party now wish he would just go away?"

DAVID GREGORY, HOST, "MEET THE PRESS": "Well there is no, you know, Grand Wizard in the party right now who can really force the issue. I've talked to Cain's advisers in Iowa, they think their support is still strong there, that it's not falling. There may be cracks in the foundation according to pollsters I'm talking to, that his numbers may be starting to shift but right now core support remains there."

UPDATE: David Gregory has apologized and tweeted the following: "'Wizard' remark this morning was a very poor choice of words. Did not mean to make that connection at all. Was not thinking. I apologize"

Herman Cain should refuse to take part in any media that employs or hires Gregory from this point on..

“Sheets” Byrd finally REALLY did a real service for this country... He took the dirt nap and is now pushing up daisies. Him and that fat, sodden, drunk Kennedy who left a young pregnant girl to drown.

Was that Mean-spirited? Crude? Yeah, maybe....but I don’t mourn nor eulogize the Enemy.

Ever.

Yeah Dave. No Grand Wizard on the right and there never was one. I do recall the left having a few fans of Grand Wizards and one dude who was one...

Here is my e-mail to the Today Show:

“David Gregory’s racist comment on the Today show was overt and offensive.

To suggest this was a “poor choice of words” is further insulting. Only a racist would use the term “Grand Wizard” in a slip up or otherwise. Media figures have been suspended and fired for far less agregious “slip ups.”

Because my daughter asked me what a “Grand Wizard” was, The Today Show will not allowed on our TV until David Gregory apologizes to Herman Cain and the GOP for even suggesting a political party should have a “Grand Wizard” determining the political fate of People of Color.

Sincerely (and ashamedly),

- My real name was here.”

Just like the consigliere who conveys the godfather’s “get-in-line-or-else” message to wayward Democrats, David?

A**hole.

David Gregory is a typical smug liberal media guy who isn't one-tenth as smart as he thinks he is. The use of the term "Grand Wizard" to describe a hypothetical leader of the Republican party who could theoretically remove Herman Cain, a black American candidate for the 2012 Republican presidential nomination, was, a best, a Freudian slip. At worst, a deliberate slur against the GOP and Herman Cain. Either way, David Gregory's apology rings hollow.

If Cain can surmount this very clever attempt by Obama operatives working with the DNC and the media propaganda machine to destroy his good name and his candidacy, it will not only be a huge victory but will signal a sea change in the erosion of the media's power to destroy a political candidate based on flimsy, unsubstantiated allegations of sexual misconduct. I, for one, remain 100% behind Herman Cain and will proudly cast my vote for him in my state's Republican primary. We need a bold, serious candidate like Herman Cain, not a compromising wimp like Mitt Romney.

DAVID GREGORY, HOST, "MEET THE PRESS": "Well there is no, you know, Grand Wizard in the party right now...

David Gregory has apologized and tweeted the following: "'Wizard' remark this morning was a very poor choice of words.

Yes it was a poor choice of words. Very poor.

But it was EXACTLY what your thought process consists of.

There is NO reform or cure for that.

I have posted this a few times, looks like it has come around again...

They are beyond help, they do not have the capacity to be educated out of communism disguised as "liberalism and progressiveness." They can not or refuse to see the destructive nature of the communism disguised as "liberalism and progressiveness" they promote.

What the supporters of communist "liberalism and progressiveness" will destroy is the very nation that gave them their freedom. They will complain, demonize, belittle and protest when opposed but only preserving this Republic in it’s original context will continue to give them their freedom to complain and protest against it.

They will not stop destroying this nation of their own accord.

The only way to preserve freedom for American Citizens in this Republic is suppression of the communist supporters. "Taking the high road" is rapidly becoming something to be put on the shelf for a while. It is now time to step up, get in their face and call them worthless communist bastards undeserving of a place in this Republic.

So, how?

One battle at a time and they will kick, scream, curse and fight the return of their freedom and sane behavior every inch of the way. If some semblance of our former Republic can be restored they will require constant observation. The communists will revert to demanding total control faster than can be understood by rational thought as rational thought is not understood by communists.

The supporters of communist "liberalism and progressiveness" will NEVER be normal freedom loving American Citizens. It is my understanding of history that not that long ago American Citizens put freedom before communism and put communist traitors in jail.

Worked once, ought to work again.

.

Wow...David Gregory should be fired for that. With one comment he just painted the entire Republican party as being members of the KKK. He should be fired and made to go on a public apology term.

But the double standard ya know....

Only the Democrat party has ever had “Grand Wizards” to keep black people down. Thank God the Democrats no longer embrace slavery or the KKK...too bad they still favor putting chains around the brains of blacks; attacking any that do not support dependent victim class mentality.

DAMMIT, CAIN CALL A PRESS CONFERENCE AND BLAST THIS IMMEDIATELY.

THE DEMOCRAT PARTY IS THE PARTY OF THE KKK. DO NOT LET THIS ALLEGATION GET AWAY WITHOUT SOME REEDUCATION OF THE MEDIA AND THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.

BRING THE HISTORY LESSON ON THE HISTRIONICS.

The more I keep thinking about this; David Gregory is insinuating many things. That he has disdain for the tea party obviously...and that he actually is insinuating that the GOP is racist? along with himself? So he is a dirty liberal scoundral that wants his savior Obama. How sad can America get when the media want dictatorship and tyranny?

Did he apologize to the Republican Party for comparing them to the Klan, or did he apologize to the Klan for associating them with the eeeeeeeevil Republicans?
