The rectum.is designed to work in one direction only. The colon is not designed to be abraded by hard solids. It hasn't the strength for that and penetration - organic or inorganic often produces tearing, which in turn can lead to future infections or recurring tearing and bloody stools.

It is not something without consequence even between willing partners.
