We file suits against the EPA, and we're told "YOU HAVE TO STANDING!!!!!!!"But other countries have a carpet entrance to press tyranny in this country????

The deal is the United States has done all it needs to do by putting embassies and consulates in those countries where THEIR CITIZENS can pick up visas to enter the United States.

There's no suggestion here that the US is violating any treaty obligations ~ on the other hand, if THEIR CITIZENS are not within the jurisdiction of the United States they should be prepared to pay their way home as soon as possible.

Obama is going to lose this case one way or the other. That doesn't mean Alabama wins, but Obama will lose it for the United States and we'll have Mexican consular officials administering US immigration law.

How do they so much as dare? Something is very, very wrong when so many nations dare to say/do this.

South Carolina Immigration Law Challenged by 16 Nations

WOW!

This is great.

Does that mean that we are similarly entitled to challenge the laws of those same 16 countries?

If they cannot demonstrate that their laws afford US citizens similar concern that the U.S. own interests and its citizens' rights were at stake, they can all go and do the anatomically impossible.
Of course, that needs to be couched in diplomatic double talk.

And you can bet the Obama regime's so called "justice" department will side with the foreign countries and dictators against US citizens, all the while refusing to perform their sworn, lawful duties to protect the borders of the USA.

Un-Freaking-Believable.

I’m sorry, I must have missed the memo that said other nations get to create laws in this one. Where is that covered in the Constitution? And I’m assuming there’s a reciprocity in effect, right? We get to make laws for THEM too? Am I right? Huh?

I've long said that the US should let other countries set our trade and immigration standards. Japan limits the amount of rice imported from the US? They the US should limit the same Japanese export commensurate with our rice exports to Japan. And for immigration laws? Well, if I was a an illegal immigrant, one of the last places I'd try to enter would be Mexico. We should set the same standards for Mexican "immigrants" that Mexico does.

Only seems fair, and a guaranteed way to insure equity. If they don't like our policies, then they can change their own policies to something they'd prefer. Sort of a "treat others as you'd like to be treated yourself" rule, extended to countries.

Actually, this sort of thing works ~ as an example for many years the USSR applied the same restrictions to mail from foreign entries that were used in the United States, right down to the very detailed restrictions on plant importation into California.

Saved them a huge bundle. The Russians didn't have to study any of this ~ the US did all the work, all the Russians did was translate it and fit it in their regulatory style.

If we adopted broad reciprocity standards with Mexico, we could shoot people at the border and claim that was Mexico's fault!

The global free trade WTO has been the instigator of much of what is wrong in the USA, with our loss of jobs and tax revenue. That loss of good paying manufacturing jobs is a huge source of our deficits. We had a nation that had factories in every town that made very usable stuff and in its place was created a Wall Street den of thieves that make fraudulent products and create billionaires that can buy our government.

I’m sure these countries recognize the right of other country’s citizens to come into their country without following their laws.
