The Ohio victory, the Occupy Wall Street movement, the earlier uprising in Wisconsin and other battles across the nation show, says Trumka, that working families are fighting back against, “the dramatic overreach of many politicians in Ohio and across country. “

Well, enjoy Trumka, working families are fighting back against,“the dramatic overreach of many politicians".

Looking forward to 2012.

As resident of Ohio, I’d say the next thing to do is CONSTUTIONAL AMENDMENT to put it beyond the reach of off-year political sabotage by the union thugs...

“What you can take away from yesterday is that working people, the 99 percent, are standing up to corporate CEO’s to say, “Enough.””

Yeah, cause all those corporate CEO’s approving unsustainable pensions and benefits for State employees are really killing Ohio!

These parasites like Trumka will be scarce when the pink slips begin to rain down on the "workign families" who just voted for layoffs.

Driving down I-77 this morning I passed two large shiny solid black Lincolns with darkened windows, about a mile apart. They each had vanity plates. One said "15 LOCAL" and the other said "17 LOCAL." I figure the vultures are gathering to pick the bones of what's left of the just stirring Ohio recovery before it collapses once more, possibly for good.

The unions’ focus certainly wasn’t on jobs, since there’s going to be enormous lay-offs because of Issue 2 failing. The only job Trumpka worried about was his own, and to heck with the rank and file.

I am sure he’ll be thrilled after getting layed off so his employed brethen could make more. Maybe those not layed off can send him a dollar or 2 every now and then.

the stunning victory for working families that sent Issue 2 down to a 61 percent to 39 percent defeat.

All it says is that 14% of the 53% who pay the taxes haven't wised up yet.

Don’t focus too sharply on all those “jobs” because they’re going to be gone. Ohio - you had two contrasting Midwestern examples, Wisconsin and Illinois. You chose Illinois. Dumb, dumb, dumb.

I’d love to know how much the thugs spent in Ohio. I got a big, glossy card just about every day in the mail. Some days two. “If you don’t vote NO on 2, I won’t be able to teach your kids.” “If you don’t vote NO on 2, your house might burn down.” That kind of crap.

The yes people sent me 3 cards in a month. Two the day before the election. They were sent from The Legacy Foundation in Iowa. Did anyone in Ohio spend a penny supporting this?

What I wanted to see was ads saying, “You pay for your health care and pension. Government union people don’t. You pay it for them. Don’t you think it it time they started to PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE? Vote YES on 2.”

We'll see who gets the last laugh.

So, lessee, in non-union households, the measure only carried by four points even though "Yes" was outspent two or three to one and people were terrified of losing police and fire services. Yeah, that's a real strong argument that the Republicans "overreached" with a partisan agenda.

If I'm Ohio dictator, I run several of the same provisions through immediately again. Make the unions spend ALL their dirty money. Bankrupt 'em.
