"Weak Field" Spanks CNBC Liberals (in debate)
American Thinker ^ | 11-10-11 | C. Edmund Wright

Putting aside Rick Perry's awful 53 seconds, the real story of the CNBC debate last night was how thoroughly the so-called weak field of Republican Presidential candidates collectively embarrassed the panel aggregated by the financial network. This was not lost on questioners Maria Bartiromo and Jim Cramer, whose demeanor change was obvious as the debate wore on. Meanwhile, in the post debate questioning, manchild Carl Quintenilla asked perhaps the worst question in the history of American journalism by trying to couch Herman Cain's "Queen Nancy" reference in light of his "problems with women." Puh-leeze.

That is a harsh accusation and does not have one shred of evidence to support it.

Absolutely true. I see the Mod agrees.

>> Evidence? You can’t even be honest on your own thread. You posted this was “not a commentary on particular candidates per se.” Yet that is all it was!
You call Perry a loser, twice and link him to the losers at CNBC. Pure tripe! Like I said, you’re lying gutter trash! >>

Your attacks on me are not only unwarranted, but causing you to miss what is a fun read that has been widely linked and quoted today. And your reading comprehension is minimal at best. I am not talking about candidates PER SE but I AM TALKING ABOUT CANDIDATE PERFORMANCES IN THIS DEBATE. I am sorry to have over estimated your ability to understand the difference.

And 99% of the piece is about CNBC having a bad night, and 1% about Perry’s bad night - WHICH BY THE WAY PERRY HIMSELF ADMITS.

What is your problem? No wait, I don’t care what it is.

Worst aspect of the debate for me: the CNBC crew was barely to the right of MSDNC.

That was the biggest takeaawy. Herman answered first and every other candidate essenatially the same thing. I thought Cramer was going to go apoplectic...” BUt But...you can’t just let them collapse!!!!”

He was asking questions like it was an episode of ‘Mad Money’.

And then, the last question he asked of Cain regarding the manipulations of stock markets...I actually wanted to hear that...however, it was the epitome of hypocracy for him to be asking...he wrote the book on how to rip off the market!!!..from the inside!!! Herman should have responded that he’d first have him arrested. :-)and that he would be bringing Patrick Byrne (overstock.com) to head the SEC.

Biggest losers last night, CNBC, their attack dogs, and Obama.
Biggest winner, the United States of America.

I was struck by that also. I knew Cramer was Cramer and Harwood was a big leftie - I am surprised how lefty Bartiromo was and sorry that Kudlow was not a questioner. He would have been great. And Carl Quintenilla was just pathetic. He is equal mentally to Shep Smith of Fox, which is to say I think clinically retarded. And I mean that in the literal sense.

That left it to Santelli to be the only voice of reason.

You wouldn't if you listened to her socialist tendencies on CNBC. Cramer was a big Obama.

I don’t watch much of the time slots where Maria B. is on the air. I’ve seen her take the opposite side of an argument with Kudlow - but I could never tell if she was being a lib or just being devils advocate. After last night, we all know the answer.

And yes, Cramer has been a big shill for Obama WHILE CALLING PELOSI A MARXIST — which means he has zero political IQ. Proof knowing how to invest is not the same thing as knowing a damned thing about business.

Cramer believed in Obama and Pelosi's ability to cure our economy. He bet heavily and lost heavily. Now he despises what they did to his portfolio.

Cramer got lucky years ago when some dude gave him an account to manage. For the last decade or more he has been nothing more than a loud-mouthed shill.

What amazes me is how he blames Pelosi but lets Obama off the hook - as if there’s an ounce of difference between the two philsophically.
