Shaking Herman's Hand @ the "Big Sky Diner" in Ypsilanti MI
n/a | 11/10/2011 | Taildragger

Posted on 11/10/2011 10:22:17 AM PST by taildragger

It was cold standing outside the "Big Sky Diner" in Ypsi, but it was well worth standing their for just over an hr this morning. The wait staff came out a served us coffee, which helped warm up many. While we thought we got their early the "Dr" and I just missed getting inside, but that is ok.

When Herman Arrived the bus pulled in and it took a while for Herman to exit the bus. Music played on a loud speaker outside that doubled as a speaker for his speech, once he made it up the receiving line. The throngs of the Lame Streams made it difficult to get pictures, but as he approached the "Dr" and I got to shake his hand. Mine was a miss matched shake as Herman was utilize both hands shake as many as possible in a short time frame. I did get a chance to say it was an honor and wish him well. Herman was present and looked right at you for that sort time, you could sense his focus and intensity.

The speech was focused as the "Doc" noted, the best he had heard and he is better in this environment vs. the dog and pony show stage.

The new material that stuck with me that dovetailed onto the only question and an explanation how 999 effects business...

* 100% of all capital expenses will be depreciated then and their not over time.
* the "9" will not apply to exports to make us more competitive.
* And last but not least, we will make things here again because in regards to energy the EPA WILL GET AN ATTITUDE ADJUSTMENT, THEY WORK FOR US NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND !!!!!

A big applause line.

We left before he came out again, it was a bit cold for the Doc, but all in all it was quite a thrill to meet him.

My gut feel from the handshake, and hearing and seeing him? He is the real deal folks, he is on a mission, and he is one of us. He is not afraid of taking on DC and the Tax Code and the Establishment. He also commands a pressence, something I didn't expect, their is already an air about him.

It was a great morning. Big Thanks go out Dennis Moore of the Willow Run Tea Party for making it happen.

Gingrich can be his VP.

Never happen, Gingrich is too consrvative for the Repulicrat Elites. Not saying he is a conservative, just too far to the right for them.

I would love a Cain/Gingrich or a Gingrich/Cain ticket because one is a washignton outsider and the other is an insider and they complement each other’s strengths and weaknesses quite well.

AMEN!!! Those two together are an absolute powerhouse.

Are GOP folks giving up on Marco Rubio as a possible VEEP in 2012? Just curious.

OK as far as I'm concerned, moderate Gingrich is the closest thing to a Conservative out there besides Cain, but the Republicrats ain't gonna like it.

I am being kinda series. I don't think he has quite the name recognition in the north that he has closer to Fla. Anyway, my objection to him is the same as for Newt, only more so. I'd like him, but the Republicrats would have a herd if there were TWO CONSERVATIVES‽ on the ticket. It is their party, after all. Just ask them.

On the Cover od Drudge!

The Lady on the right is one of the waitresses at the "Big Sky Diner".

She came out in the cold and poured us coffee.

My guess is that is the rest of the Staff w/ Herman.

Having been in the food Industry, he gets these folks....

Herman is going to be in Milwaukee this Sunday, if I recall right. That’s an hour from here. It’s a fundraiser.

If I’d known sooner, I could have gotten in at the 500 dollar level and been able to meet him inside the event.
I reserved 500 for Sarah Palin, but now Herman is getting it. I’ve already sent Herman 75 of it.

The other night, I went to a YouTube link of Herman singing gospel songs. What a wonderful voice he has, nice deep baratone.

I read last night that his fundraising is going at a good clip. Just as I suspected, his supporters are fighting the slanders from the DNC with donations to Herman.

I love it.

Cheers!

I agree completely!

I wanna see more Cain/Gingrich Lincoln Douglas type debates, i would love to see Gingrich Debate Obama, and Cain as well. Both would destroy Obama in debates.

I was just thinking that I'd love to seen Gingrich demolish Joe Biden in a debate. ;o)

Cain is my man and I will not vote for any other. If the republicans keep him off the ballot, they have only themselves to blame for their loss.

What you said! :)
