STATE COLLEGE, Pa. -- Mike McQueary, one of the central figures in the burgeoning child sex abuse scandal at Penn State, will remain receivers coach Saturday when the Nittany Lions play their final home game of the season.
Defensive coordinator Tom Bradley, who was appointed Penn State interim coach in the wake of a shakeup that has claimed the jobs of Joe Paterno and other university leaders, said Thursday it will be a "game-time decision" whether McQueary will coach from the sideline or the press box against No. 19 Nebraska.

Right. But since McQueary heads up recruiting for Penn State, his role is precarious...in other words, they don't want to chop off their recruiting too early...at least not without having a back-up plan all readied.
Hence, the Ped State football program as the "god" just replaces the JoePa god there.
This is the "test case" showing nothing can bring down this god of their's.
Worst yet, the Penn State fans are catering to all of this. They're disgusting.
****Look at a photo of the guy. He’s a big man, as you would expect for a former player.****
Conditioning - brain-washing - take one for the team - all for one and one for all.
McQueary’s future career was wrapped up in the brain-washed bubble.
Pig skin!!!!
Absolutely-—he could have stopped it from the git-go, IMO.
No you are not crazy. That is the first thing I thought when I first heard about this sick situation.
There has to be More to the story. We need the "Rest of the Story"
I caught part of Rush today. He said something about an ice cream cone. Anybody else catch that?
He reminds me of the guy from “The Longest Yard”...the one chucking hay bales and yelling “fffuut-ballll”...
That thought crossed my mind, too.
He also perhaps has told authorities that he'll cooperate in cases vs. Schultz & Curley & perhaps Spanier + anybody else he related the account to.
I’d bet he won’t.
Was that the Burt Reynolds version or the Adam Sandler version?
Never saw the Adam Sandler version(most remakes suck).
I have been noting your posts on this scandal and I am in total agreement with your analysis.
Penn State needs to shut it down right now. It’s going to get much worse before it gets any better, and playing football only complicates and exacerbates the situation.
Use some common sense, Penn State.
Yes, but I have read he did not tell Paterno what he really saw. He tamed it down a great deal. I don't know how you can see what he saw and not take immediate action to stop the assault.
Wonder if he was being bribed or he was being sexually harrassed too...... oh good grief
I think Gary Glitter will be named as his replacement.

Sad, but true.
Philadelphia’s former D.A. was on a morning show today and said McQueary may be protected under a “whistle-blower” statute
What has been happening in PSU over the last few days makes it painfully obvious that the adults (at 28 Alexander Hamilton had completed his service in the Revolutionary War as General Washington’s Chief of Staff and had been elected to Congress, depending on which birth date one accepts, he was founding the Bank of New York and was admitted to the New York State Bar after several months of self-study around the same time) who are managing the athletic department and in fact all of PSU are largely in a twisted fantasyland where their reality revolves around football games and not some mythical ethos that the football program is purported to instill in the children of PSU’s customers, i.e., what is commonly referred to as the student body.
You know, they showed a clip last night of the PSU band playing and wouldn’t you know it, they were playing the Rock N’ Roll song.

As Rick Perry would say, "Oops!"
Has anyone just been watching ESPN?
Mark May just did a blistering attack on the integrity of Penn State by allowing McQueary to coach this Saturday.
It was excellent! I'm not normally a big Mark May fan, but everything he said was direct and to the point.
I'm sure they'll replay it. Watch for it.
