(CNN) -- The attorney for a woman who accused presidential hopeful Herman Cain of sexual harassment in the late 1990s said Thursday his client is not prepared to hold a news conference about the allegations until all the other reported victims agree to join her. Joel Bennett said his client, Karen Kraushaar, has tried to reach two other women who also claim they were sexually harassed by Cain during his 1996-99 stint as head of the National Restaurant Association.

Of course since Ms. Bailek is supposedly in the process of filing for bankruptcy for the third time... Anyone’s chances of collecting anything from this woman ever are about nil. Although there will be a window of time during which she will not be able to file again; so any money she makes from defaming Mr. Cain would probably go to him.
I respect him too. How many Pubbies are out of office because they cowered before the bullying? One example, Trent Lott, who was drummed out because he said we wouldn’t be in such a boat if Strom Thurmond had been elected president in 1948 and Strom was a Segregationist then.
But Kennedy can let a mistress die, Barney Frank can have a male brothel run out of his senate office...it goes on and on and all they have to do is accuse and heckle and bully a Pubbie and they cave.
Cain should fight with both barrels blaring.

That's a good point to bring up. Not too long ago, all a white woman had to do was allege molestation or worse and point the finger at a black person and he was automatically guilty. There are cases, I think 60-80 years ago, where a black man would be lynched just on an unproven say-so by a white woman who may have been up to no good with a boyfriend or married man and found it convenient to blame a black man.
Blacks have a long memory as far as oppression in slavery and segregation go and it certainly fits that an unsubstantiated charge by a white woman, especially a charge as graphic as Bialek made, would cause anger among the black male population. It may take a charge like that to get some blacks thinking that maybe they ought change their perception of a successful black Republican.
Oh, you are right on the money. You cannot squeeze blood from a stone that has no blood. But....you can get an award that gives her food & shelter, but beyond that, everything she earns will go to Mr. Cain or to Mr. Cain’s attorneys. Plus they, the Cain attorneys will destroy her inside/out and she will instantly become radioactive for life. Methinks she has a terrible financial and personal rap sheet!!! IMHO, Ms. Gloria Allred is not the sharpest knife in the drawer!!! Again, if this women is smart, she will disappear into the safety net of the invisible, never to be heard from again.

And that witness also says Bialek cornered Cain, hugged him and whispered something to him. And Bialek told her she didn't expect Cain to be there though his appearance had been publicized. On other threads several speculated it was a setup by Bialek to establish "her credentials" that she and Cain knew each other. Of course the fact that lots of women will hug a man they admire if given the chance, and the recipient won't remember her is lost on journalists who want desperately to believe the gold diggers story.
At least we know not to expect biased reporting from Borger. /s

Exactly. I read the CNN article and I would see it about as balanced a story as one could expect from them. Attorney Wood may also have had something to with that.
The MSM may slowly and ever so slightly walk this back a little, but meme of “5 women accused Herman Cain of sexual harassment” is firmly planted in many non-thinking, apathetic brains, even though we only heard from 2 and only one gave any sort of detail.
What a sham and what a shame! However, if nothing else comes out, I believe Cain can overcome it during the next year.
The smear was not aimed at Tea Party types, but at the foolish sheeple in the Pubbie Party and independents in the general election. Even if 90% of the public believes Cain, he has doubtless lost some votes, and in a close election, that could be crucial. By the same token, the 0bamunists fear him not because he would cause mass defections of black voters, but because he will pull just enough to swing some close States.
That's why the source of this smear must be run down and crushed. And it's probably Axelrod, as Ann Coulter guessed.

If this is indicative of how Cain would pick people as President, it is a good omen.
From the reading this CNN article, my feeling is that CNN editors did tighten the lease a bit - probably because of Mr. Wood. But we will see for sure as time plays out, won’t we?
I’ll bet the debate audience’s reactions last night also made the evil MSM pause a little too.
