Yup lawyer Lin Wood is Herman Cain’s “Equalizer”. He must have been talking to the women’s publicity hound lawyer. Yes, Mr. Wood, gave the same advice to these women that I did immediately. Having sat as the deciding arbitrator in dozens of these type cases, I cautioned the women coming forward as accusers of Mr. Cain to be very cautious. My experience has taught me that 90% percent of these cases proceed without merit at the direction of a “shyster” attorney. I’ll be quiet, other then to say the attorney Joel Bennett, would not be permitted to defend his client before our board of grievance. No facts, No Hearing. IMHO, if Ms. Bailek has any brains, she will uncouple herself from this farce immediately, for if Lin Wood gets involved and she does have not an absolute airtight case, she will be a poor women for eternity.
Indeed. They had expected to be able to play this with nothing more than soundbites and innuendos, but with Wood watching every move they make it becomes very difficult to manufacture any salaciousness.
This could be a watershed moment in American politics. The first time a “borking” has been effectively preempted. I’m not counting Thomas in that list because he won his fight by means of a “hail-Mary” pass at the close.
