See a good shrink (like me (ret)) and get treated for performance anxiety... I am certain he is a smart and capable governor. He managed to get people to donate a fortune to his campaign. He has a bunch of devoted followers. He has choked because he wants so much to perform perfectly for all of these people. But he is sabotaging himself.
Mr. Cain seems to have a totally different motivation. He seems to excel when challenged. With all the crap that has been thrown his way in the past couple of weeks it still looks like he is having fun. You would think that he would pull back a bit, but he has been doing more interviews, speeches, and events than any of the other candidates. And he looks energized and motivated at every appearance. He seems to have the energy of a man half his age. One of the reasons that he continues to climb in the polls is that he is working harder than any of the other candidates.
