(CNSNews.com) A day after newly released e-mails surfaced regarding an Obama donors role in asking for a second Solyndra loan, the White House agreed to provide subpoenaed material to the House Energy and Commerce Committee -- but not without a jab.
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney called the House probe into the $535-million federal loan to the solar panel firm "partisan." Solyndra is now bankrupt and under FBI investigation.
We have been enormously cooperative with legitimate oversight. In this investigation alone weve turned over 85,000 pages of documents, Carney told reporters Thursday. We will continue to cooperate with this committee in their investigation. With regards to the subpoena, I dont have anything to announce. But, I can say, as the White House counsel made clear in her letter, the subpoena was over-broad, unnecessary and in my words, if something seems partisan, it probably is.

Partisan?!
They’re lucky DC hasn’t besieged by outraged taxpayers, completely outfitted with torches, pitchforks, fence rails, warm tar, and feathers!!
American people lash out at White House over partisan loan to fake solar company Solyndra
It sure IS partisan - $585 M worth, the partisans being the AMERICAN PUBLIC YOU WH NIMRODS !!!
AND, BTW, if the WH DID NOT have much of anything to do with Solyndra - HOW COME YOU HAVE 85,000 DOCUMENTS ON IT ???
Oh I get it .........Republicans fault.
Somebody needs to tell Carney and his master that it’s our money they have essentially “laundered”.
Carney is a little pest who needs to be swatted a real jerk off.
A carney follows a circus, right?
Dems are busy looting and don’t have time to investigate.
This circus has put this country back 50 years.
A carney follows a carnival hello
Checks and balances are a great thing.
It’s only one party that see’s an issue with theft in the Solyndra loans.
85,000 pages, no they weren’t in contact with Solyndra.
Well, when no Rat gives a care about America getting scammed by Solyndra, it seems pretty cheeky to complain that only Republicans care.
Does anyone think they are trying to hide the crime under a mountain of paper?
Any government program that has broad public support based on strong emotional appeal will become a wasteful boondoggle as sharp operators move in to exploit the public willingness to throw money at the program. The more powerful the appeal, the bigger the boondoggle.
