The health care law has done little thus far to impact coverage for older Americans, and the number of uninsured remains high, according to a survey released by Gallup today.
About 17.3 percent of Americans did not have health insurance as of the last quarter, one of the highest numbers on record. The drop in coverage was driven largely by an increase in the number of uninsured young people between the ages of 18 and 26. Gallup, however, said the number could be high because it had higher cell phone-only respondents, which likely included more young adults.

First they’ll drop the coverage. Then, after the Obama administration threatens them, they’ll move out of the country.

Bias in the reporting. "Has yet to boost number" and "has done little thus far".
No, the reality is that the number of uninsured has increased.
You're right - sounds biased to me. Could be taken as hopeful, anticipatory. That is, has yet to...but don't worry, it will! {snort} Or, thus far...but don't worry, it will! {BS}
I realize these could be interpreted in a negative way too. But the overall tone didn't bring that across. This is subtle, defensible bias, but it is still there.
The reality is even worse than this. Employers are rapidly reducing or dropping co-pays for spouses & dependents. So...the spouse or dependent is still technically “on the company plan”, but the employee must now foot most/all of the bill.
That was the intention all along. People will have to go to the gov for insurance.
Well hey Obamacare has done alot for me. My insurance has now gone up 4 times since they started talking about it. $50 more per month X 12 = $600 more a year I am paying now. Thanks Obama and Demopcrats!
