Government demands payment from jailed ex-Border Patrol agent
The Washington Times ^ | Thursday, November 10, 2011 | Stephen Dinan

The Justice Department this week sent a follow-up notice demanding former Border Patrol Agent Jesus E. Diaz Jr.’s family immediately pay nearly $7,000 and imposing a lien on his property, even though he remains in prison unable to pay and his family says a judge gave them a grace period.

It’s the second notice the Justice Department has sent to the family of Diaz, who was sentenced to prison for two years for using excessive force in arresting an illegal immigrant who was suspected of smuggling drugs. The new notice threatens new penalties if the money isn’t paid within 30 days.

This will all stop as soon as Obama is Fired and a real American is in the white house again.

then we can send Holder to a Grand Jury and then to Jail.

Johnny Sutton, Bush 43’s buddy and former U.S. Attorney for Western Texas (who prosecuted Ramos and Compean) was also involved in this.

You can't blame this all on Obama and Holder. Bush 43’s buddy Johnny Sutton was involved too. Like the case involving Ramos and Compean, a Bush 43-appointed judge presided.

Both Bush 43 and Obama have bent over backwards to placate the Mexican government at the expense of U.S. citizens and security.

2221, “Bush 43’s buddy and former U.S. Attorney for Western Texas (who prosecuted Ramos and Compean)”

Seems sorta like an inner challenge for the 0 to “beat the bush? (If George can screw it up, I the great and beloved 0 can screw it up both more, and better.)

Breathless, R.

An illustration that the regime won't do anything to stop the drug traffickers across the border, but rather prosecute and intimidate the law enforcemnt officers. The corruption goes very deep and it didn't begin with Obama. The Bush admin was up to their necks in it, and god knows what the Clintonoids gave away to the cartels.

Bush’s AG at the time Gonzales was happy to convict Ramos and Campeon. The US govt at the highest levels has a corrupt agreement with Mexico. Until we get a President with the cojones to tell Mexico to STFU and stay out of our business this will continue. Its absolutely sickening that that border agent and his family are being subjected to this crapola. They should be shooting these drug dealers on sight if they are on our side of the border. Word would get around pretty fast if they thought we were not taking prisoners.

DEAR LORD,

You are our only recourse, oh God Almighty.

For all who will not confess and repent . . .

Please cause all such official evil doers in this false imprisonment situation—penalizing an honorable couple of men for doing their lawful jobs,

to fall in the pit the evil officials have dug.

Cause them to lose 1,000 times the penalties they have demanded from him and his family—each one of the evil doers.

Cause them to fall from office in great humiliation and disgrace.

Cause all their relatives and associates to shun them as scum unfit to acknowledge their existence.

Cause them to lose sleep nightly in great anguish until they confess and repent.

In your Name Oh Lord of Justice.

I’d best not comment on all that hideousness.

I was about to say that if we wanted this sort of crap to stop we’d better get someone better than Bush in there...and now I see that Bush’s buddy is doing this. What Is Wrong With These People?????

Who bought them?

Yeah...probably a stupid question.

I want my country back!

I’m not sure. His wife is also a border agent. I would think that Duncan Hunter’s office would know as Hunter is trying to stick up for Diaz.

let’s see, the border patrol agent was convicted, not his family. How does the frickin’ justice dept. get off trying to make them pay his fine. I would take this to court and hope for a conservative judge.

Tell me about it. I read about this last week and couldn’t believe what the hell I was reading. A foreign invader? Bringing in drugs? And THE COP goes not only to jail but is now having his house and family threatened BY OUR OWN FEDERAL GOVERNMENT? What-the-F?? How many more examples of treason are we going to get from this administration? Trying Khalid Sheik Mohammed as a civilian with full Constitutional rights so his case can be dismissed? Obama attempting to close down Gitmo on his very first day in office? Holder suing states for trying to enforce the law?

The Repub party has been overtaken by RINOs and the Democrats have been overtaken by Marxists. What we need is a true Conservative like Herman Cain in office. You heard what he said he would do about the border right? About the electrified fence? He later on said he was kidding, but on the other hand I take what he said as him letting people know he is not going to stand for this BS any longer.

If they can do this to an agent over a minor incident, imagine what the cost of fast and furious will be to the govt and its employeees who acted beyond the scope of their authority and caused hundreds of deaths. Time to take off the gloves and start putting those responsible in jail and empty their bank accounts
