BETTENDORF, Iowa - An early copy of Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry's government reform speech shared with the Des Moines Register shows the Texas governor is planning to propose widespread changes for the federal government, including term limits on federal judges and Supreme Court justices, a part-time Congress, and laws criminalizing insider trading.
The governor first previewed the reforms in a speech Monday evening at an event by the Scott County Republican Party, where he said, "Washington doesn't need a new coat of paint, it needs a complete overhaul." Today, he will deliver the details of his plan in a speech at the Schebler Manufacturing facility.

I’m technically stunted!!
Now Perry and Brownback are talking.
I like the part-time Congress - that is how it was supposed to be. I’d like to get back to state legislators electing Senators to represent the state’s interests.
The speech is up now too.
I’m for voting out bad Judges but wouldn’t there need to be a change in the Constitution to do this? I believe they hold office “during good behavior”. I would argue trying to write laws from the bench is “Bad Behavior” but probably wouldn’t get far....
He flew a C-130 during the 5 years he was in the Air Force and he's traveled the world as Gov. of Texas. He's been the Chair of the RGA for 2 terms.
Perry = Done... Stick a Fork in him... It’s over
Ohhhhhhh now I understand his bad debate performance- he is deaf and his brain is has not yet stopped rattling around ...
Perry just finished discussing NASA and it’s current state and that he’s going to make sure to bring it back.
Let me guess, the proposal had three points, but they only remembered to publish 2?
You wouldn't say that if you're listen to him Live stream.
ROFLOL, none of which he does very well. But we do know of all the wookie type spending he has done on the tax payers dime. http://www.redpubmagazine.com/article.php?id=820
Perry is writing political checks he knows he cannot cash. It’s political Hail Mary time at the Perry campaign.
I bet the last pages of the proposal were blank because they forgot what they were going to say on the subject.
He’s pulling out all the stops in an attempt to retain the 3-4% support he still has.
Mr. Heartless lost all conservatives a long time ago.
Now forgeting what 3 federal agencies you would elimante tells everyone that it was NOT your idea. He memorized it and can’t even do that. The guy is an embarassment and cannot debate in his own party. Thus, the 7% poll rating.....
You are wasting your time.
