My vote in the primary will be Cain but if Bachmann or Santorum get the nod I am happy. In the general, the ONLY candidates that are acceptable to me are Cain, Bachmann and Santorum. If they are not the nomination, I am writing in Cain. This party is so dumb if they are not going to pick one of these three conservatives. I am sick and tired of the liberal Republicans getting the nom. I am done with this. This is our one time probably forever to get a 100 percent conservative into the White House and once again the Republicans are trying to screw this up.

Ditto, ditto, ditto, ditto, and ditto. I am in complete agreement with every word.

Yes, but it is an important one. Shrug it off if you wish. You know, if those polls are so wrong, Alan Keyes would be president today.

Palin can kiss off now, she just played the media and made her millions off keeping everyone guessing what she was going to do. I’m sure she knew all along she wasnt going to run but wanted to cash in on her popularity for as much as she could.

The Math doesn’t work for Newt.

Cain is at 235. Mitt, with the NE, MN and MI, UT and NV has 126.

235 + 126 = 349. There are only another 189 EC votes.

You’d get a split like this:

Cain 235 - Newt 189 - Romney 126. Romney would have to throw to Newt. Romney cannot win in this situation, and that’s assuming every single state that Cain doesn’t have stays with Romney and goes to Newt.

The other problem is that all the Perry states save OR are LEAN CAIN.

I would rather Cain won, but I could live with Newt since anything is better than Mitt.

That's exactly what the elites want you to think, before the anvil comes down on Newt, leaving only Mitt. First they hit Cain with the phony sex charges. Then GOP bloggers hit him over the "Libya gaffe" - after what must be the first ever videotaped newspaper session in history. Now that Cain is wrecked, it is time to build up and then destroy Newt.

And unlike Cain, with Newt that is an easy task. It's amazing how few FReepers are aware of Newt's actual record, being mesmerized by his debate rhetoric. It will all come out, along with his and Callista's financial shennanigans, and it won't be pretty.

Once again, it is all according to Mitt and Rove's designs.

Newt isn’t stealing Cain support.

Newt support is coming from the following.

1, Undecideds
2, Perry supporters.
3, What appears to be a bunch of Mitt supporters. Mitt was supposed to be around 35-40 percent in CA. He’s only at 22. That’s huge.

“You think now that all but Newt and Romney are left the MSM and the Chicago Machine will just let Newt off with a pass?”

You are right. If Newt wins Iowa he’ll push all the credible threats to Romney out of the race and then he’ll be easily destroyed. Worst possible outcome.

Forget California. McCain was barely registering in California 4 years ago. The results there will be determined by whoever wins the earlier races.

No, it’s not unconstitutional. Gingrinch lives in Virginia not Georgia.

His Libya fiasco finished him. His fall in the polls is not due to the bimbos but because people are taking a closer look at him and realize that there is little substance. I like Cain, but I'm not going to drink the kool aid just because he is engaging, charming and plain spoken. And besides I don't want a national sales tax. That is all we need - a new revenue stream for the federal govt to waste and increase the percent, etc.

Cain's response is the people will hold the politicians accountable. LOL! That is not happening now and won't happen later.

Funny joke I heard...what's the difference between Kalifornia's illegals and Texas' illegals? Texas' illegals actually work :)

Funny joke (not). Texas and California both allow illegals to in-state tutiton to colleges. Do you agree with that?

"PPP surveyed 316 California Republican primary voters....."

Why so few? Or is that all the Republicans still left in California?

I don't think so.

You forgot "intelligent" and therein lies the difference: He learns fast. More importantly, he knows how to get people working for him which is where he is miles ahead of Newt. Good people will bring him up to speed.

Sarah was my pick by a huge margin and as Newt has been given a second look, I think Sarah would have also been given a second look and considering the current crowd of candidates, I can imaging her appeal coming through clearly. Oh well.

Santorum? Yeesh. What kind of odds are you taking on that? Not that I’m a betting man, but I’m guessing that’d be considered a longshot.

Not at all.

In addition to offering an in-state tuition rate to illegals, Kalifornia (tax payers) actually pay for the in-state tuition for illegals :(

That's OK...Newt doesn't need your vote. In a multi candidate race, he just needs a small plurality.
