OWS Protesters Calling For ‘Day Of Action’ Following Loss Of Camp In Zuccotti Park

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – The loss of their camp at Zuccotti Park doesn’t seem to be slowing down the Occupy Wall Street movement as protesters are calling for “a national day of direct action” on Thursday.

It all starts with a rally in Liberty Square starting at 7 a.m. to “put an end to Wall Street’s reign of terror.”

They plan on gathering at 16 subways stations around New York City to take their message to the trains.

Finally, they say tens of thousands of protesters will end the day in Foley Square followed by a march to the Brooklyn Bridge to mark the two month anniversary of the Occupy Wall Street movement.

Wow-I remember all of this stuff from 1969 and I was in 8th grade.
Kids in my school were wearing black armbands because of Kent State, sometimes white ones for “peace”. I even did a paper on the Weathermen and was horrified while doing my research.

All they talked about was peace but they were the most violent people I had seen in my short lifetime.How can you talk about peace while building bombs and trying to kill people? I was 13 and knew that was wrong!

Fast forward to the present and the same mindset and they are just as violent, crazed and nonsensical as they were back then....

I’m not sure what their thinking is. I did note that A.N.S.W.E.R. is not floated as much as it used to be, in fact hardly at all. Your observations aside, I can’t imagine another reason for it.

I’ll have to admit to thinking Soros has funds mingled with this mess too.

there was a ANSWER troll on here ;promoting these protests a few weeks ago. When I called the troll out the troll would send private messages to those posters on the thread saying how they are a conservative,trying to make friends on here. Course in the end they were found out and busted.
