I wonder why she keeps doing Romney’s dirty work?

Yep - she is Mitt’s henchman - the reason she’s in the race.

I have a large does of wisdom, here you have newt porking it up and adding to the problem, no damn wonder he supported tarp. With newt you get what you pay for. What I do not understand is why, the retirement package for speaker is enough for ten people to retire on. Does he have a gambling problem are something.

She means that Newt is a backer of Obamacare and she is right:

Then why when Santorum questioned Mitt on his healthcare at the 2nd to late debate - she jumped in to quiet Santorum and tell us we won't have to worry about Obamacare because it's going to be repealed. No one brought up Romneycare again.

The post that I reply to is a perfect example of why I made the previous prayer suggestion.

Retirement pay for speaker, not including his office allowance, 223,500 per year for life.

Bachmann will shread him to pieces.

Whatever makes Mitt look good, MB will attempt. If Newt wanted - he could make her a laughing stock.

Like it or not, Newt, by siding with Freddie, helped enable this wipe out of taxpayers to continue, probably costing us hundreds of billions, if not TRILLIONS, in debt.

It’s hard, for me, to forgive Newt for this stunt (just as it’s still hard for me to understand why he got on that couch with Pelosi).

I'd rather she'd just attack Obama.

The fact she aims just about all her fire at other conservatives is the big thing that has turned me off from her.

The problem was the government, using Janet Reno and the Justice Dept., FORCED banks and institutions to make these loans OR ELSE!

Remember all that “red lining” BS crap?

Once these bad loans were forced on the mortgage bankers they spread their risk around. They would usually just sell the normal loans to FHA, Freddie or Fannie (let’s get real - all government agencies and not private at all). When they couldn’t dumped the sub-primes (created by the govt essentially) they bundled them into securities and sold them.

Greed took over and they created too many and voila - bailouts.

Roflol, the foreclosure rate for the first years say this theory is mostly a lie, there was no increase in the foreclosure rate. It went crazy when people like newt lobbied to allow sub-prime loans, that should never been made to anyone under any condition.

What years are you looking at? The FDIC showed the rates steadily rising throughout the 90’s. I found this but it only goes to 1997 (see pages 23-38):

Trying to locate data from 1998 on. I’m sure it really spikes in 2007-2010. So your contention looks to be correct.
