A portion of a major natural gas pipeline apparently ruptured and exploded this morning in rural Morgan County, sending flames hundreds of feet into the air and setting five buildings ablaze.
The explosion in a Tennessee Gas pipeline along Taylor Road near the Athens-Morgan county line was reported to authorities about 8:45 a.m.
The blast caused several fires along the route of the 25-inch high-pressure pipeline. The explosion and subsequent fires destroyed two occupied houses, one unoccupied house and a barn, said Shane Cartmill, spokesman for the state fire marshal's office. Another barn received fire damage.

The USA has lost its common ethnic European heritage due to the mass immigration act of 1965. Cities that once were livable are now dumps infested with ethnic gangs. Even small towns have been hijacked. Someone wanted to destroy the USA commonality. Who pushed it, who did it, who benefited and what was the motive? It happened for a reason.
Morgan County native here. Grew up about 3 1/2 miles from Stockport. About 10 miles south of McConnelsville. Love it down there.
