This is making the rounds at Facebook...

There are some serious issues not taking into context within the graph...

Another attempt by the left to equate the TEA Party with the useful idiot vermin at OWS

The real question is what the end results of each movement....

If the Owsers don’t understand that their lives and those of individuals within capitalist Corporations are being controlled by Government rules, regulations and laws - they are doomed.

TEA party participants understand the difference!

Government has way to much control over corporations. They tax and regulate them to the point where lobbying (bribing) congress is the most cost effective means of doing business.

Someone needs to do one for the differences. Methods, crime, responsibility, morality, violence, etc.

The fact that we might agree on some items is buried by the differences and the way they try to get things done.

It’s overly simplistic to the point of being useless, and just a way to create a ‘dialogue.’ I could easily make such a graph showing the ‘similarities’ between pro-life and pro-abort (both ‘respect life of the mother’), Dem/Rep (both ‘agree that taxes are needed to fund government’) and so on.

OWS is militantly against corporations and demand the end of capitalism (at least they did last time I checked). TP acknowledges that there are problems with such things but are focused on electing people who will cut budgets and live according to our Constitution, and among many things that will of course involve dealing with corruption and corporations, etc.

You're right, there's a lot more to it than is in that graph. I like these:

Still the biggest difference...

Tea Party = Tax Payers, protesting funding government.

OWS = Tax Recipients, protesting not enough funds from government.

An over-simplification to be sure but which side of that "chart" do we have at least some power to change?

And which group of people is trying to change the chart by lawful means and which group is using violent anti-social methods?

Corporations pay protection money. Government is the mob.

If government had little to do with business, corporations wouldn’t bother bribing government.

they seem to have missed the part where the TEA party, being taxed to pay for everything, are tired of being forced, under threat of violence, to pay for the parasites in our society

like the OWS.

the two are polar opposites. the OWS is pro socialism / communism / marxism and the TEA party is pro individual / capitalism / American

asking a TEA party person to join the OWS ‘movement’ is like asking a jew to become a nazi, or a black guy to join the KKK.

They forgot the “I hate that somebody has more than I do” circle. It should go over on the left side.

Some large corporations are large government. Both the control freaks in government and the corrupt execs in the corporation work as one to have their way and to destroy smaller corporations and other businesses.

The solution is a much smaller government and starting over on all regulations and the tax code.

Regulations should be debated publicly, and a method should be put in place where any and all regulations can be overturned during a national election.
