It's all Beltway Theater designed to kick the can down the road and into a full-blown campaign issue. Both sides of the aisle want this supercommittee to fail.

What they are doing is perfectly obvious. They don't want Obama to fail.

The “super committee” was a goofy idea to begin with. All it shows is that politicians are AFRAID to do the job the people elected them to do. If they do what is right for America, their freeloader base won’t reelect them.

I've been asking myself this question this morning:
Why in the hell would anyone want to be president?
This ship is going down.

As intended when Harry Reid cooked it up and served it to gullible McConnell and Boehner.
It’s just the latest way to bundle everything together at once, create and emergency so senators and representatives don’t have to debate anything on the floor. No amendments, no conference committees.
This is not legislating. This is arisocracy in the guise of legislating.

Well who’s fault is that?
We are the same ones that keep electing this aristocracy of the Professional Political class to office.

Those in DC are addicted to their perks and power and they’ll do anything to keep it. And that includes having cocktails together every evening and discussing ways to hang onto office.
We’re all being forced to sit and watch this nation be destroyed by both parties.

“Well, since it failed, the GOP leaders who who supported it should be replaced..”
Hensarling blowing kisses on TV and getting a rhetorical sledge hammer to the head in return from the dims. With leaders like this we are doomed.
Boehner & McConnell and the rest of the GOP “leadership” will be damned by history.
