Perhaps what we should concentrate on is this idiot Basri and his crew of 17 as to what constitutes "higher education."

All students are created equal? No.
All College courses promote marketable skills? No.

Perhaps the educational-welfare complex should avtively make a distinction and subsidize real courses, that require real effort and a result in a marketable skill.

Otherwise we are just creating hundreds of thousands of additional welfare recipients who happen to have useless college degrees.

I'll leave it to the reader to make the endless list of useless college degrees or degrees that result in a negative enhancement on the National competitiveness and quality of life.
