Washington DMV offices offering HIV/AIDS testing
November 24, 2011 | Associated Press
WASHINGTON - At one Department of Motor Vehicles office in the nations capital, motorists can get a drivers license, temporary tags, and something wholly unrelated to the road: a free HIV test.
In a city with one of the highest percentages of residents living with HIV or AIDS, health officials have now test-driven the in-DMV testing and are finding that it works. More than 5,000 people have been screened and gotten results while they wait.
Now officials are expanding the program, offering testing at an office where Washington residents register for food stamps, Medicaid, and other government assistance. On the first day of the program, 60 people were tested, officials said. As an incentive theyre being offered a $5 gift card to a local grocery store.
You have to meet people where they are, explained Sheila Brockington, who oversees HIV testing at the DMV office in southeast Washington. Youre waiting anyway. You might as well.

BUT, are they advising these people that soon they will may be unable to get decent medical care....especially if they are over 65?
Sorry...I meant to say that SOON THEY MAY BE UNABLE...
They just got a free eye exam. Why bother 'em with details?
And HHS will be offering a free oil change with any birth control hand-out.
Is that heaven-condemned city FULL of homosexuals or what?
