Barnicle Barely Blinks As Coulter Calls Ted Kennedy 'Human Pestilence'

Can you imagine the holy hell Ann Coulter would have unleashed if Ronald Reagan had been described in similarly scathing terms? But when the irrepressible Ann called Ted Kennedy "human pestilence," long-term Kennedy clan retainer Mike Barnicle barely blinked.

It happened on Morning Joe today. Coulter, who has called on conservatives to rally around Mitt Romney, was defending Romney's adoption in the past of moderate positions. Ann argued he did so in hyper-liberal Massachusetts while running against Ted Kennedy and that Romney "came within five points of taking out that human pestilence." The best Barnicle could muster was a stumbling "I, I, I, I don't know that I'm going to do that with Ted Kennedy," that "we miss him in Massachusetts" and that Kennedy would have facilitated the ObamaCare debate.

Ann, who has a nack of picking the wrong candidate year after year after year, doesn’t think we even need to discuss the issues or have a primary. We should rally around someone who is wild card. He’s a liberal republican at best, and likely a moderate who will compromise at every turn.

She won’t even listen or consider someone like Newt. I’m very disappointed in her, but clearly she’s off base here if she thinks Romney is the best choice.

Obama and company will tag the guy as a racist and drag the Mormon faith into it. By the end, people will be afraid to vote for him.

Hey, folks, be easy on Ted Kennedy, he’s been sober since August 25, 2009.

I would think Romney would make a fine president if I believed for one second that his RINOism was a temporary affliction while running for office in Massachusetts which he has been cured of. However, I think the most dangerous place in America after the last day of the Republican convention would be to the left of Romney as his sprints to and then past the middle - you would have his footprints all over you if you tried to get in the way.

Newt “No Child Left Behind, Mandatory Health Care, Global Warming, Prescription Drugs, TARP” Gingrich is no better than Romney. If you want to waste your vote on him, however, feel free to do so.

Ann Coulter-”Whenever we run a moderate Republican, we lose.” 7.8.2008
Conservative fraud Ann Coulter says the opposite of what she’s recently said, here in a 2008 interview.

Well, okay. He's been pretty dry since then.

Dessicated, even.

Except for his buddies who've been pouring bourbon on his grave. The crickets and worms like it.

The truth will out, won’t it Mark?

I have little sympathy for that slimeball. I remember his Robert Bork speech.

AFA Mizz Coulter goes, see my tagline.

They cry about partisanship but the problem is that they all get along soooo well.

Yes, and you have to ask yourself, "Could I carry on friendly association with someone I knew was a rapist and killer, or that I knew was involved in massive graft with his sex partners?" My answer would be no.

However, if a person doesn't think there's anything wrong with rape or prostitution or graft, well ... he's a politician, isn't he?
