In September, President Obama awarded the Medal of Honor, the nation's most prestigious military award, to Sgt. Dakota Meyer, the marine who saved 36 of his comrades during an ambush in Afghanistan.
Obama called Meyer one of the most "down-to-earth guys that you will ever meet."
But today Meyer, 23, is having trouble getting a job because of allegations by defense contractor BAE Systems that he has a drinking problem and is mentally unstable. Meyer filed legal papers Monday claiming the allegations were in retaliation for objections he raised about BAE's alleged decision to sell high-tech sniper scopes to the Pakistani military.
After leaving active duty in May 2010, Meyer worked at Ausgar Technologies, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business in California, until April 2011.
"He exhibited a maturity for his age and an insightful capability to get the job done and provide recommendations to improve on what we are doing. I was very impressed while he was working for us. He was an outstanding employee," Tom Grant, a retired military naval officer and a senior program manager at Ausgar Technologies, told ABC News.
When asked about the allegations of mental instability and a drinking problem, Grant said, "While Meyer was working for me, I never saw evidence of either of those issues."
In March 2011, Meyer began working at BAE Systems, a British military contracting company, where he learned the company was trying to sell advanced thermal optic scopes to the Pakistani military.
"We are taking the best gear, the best technology on the market to date and giving it to guys known to stab us in the back," Meyer wrote to BAE Systems manager Bobby McCreight,

I think that we all know which person in that picture is mentally unstable.
I actually got to spend some time with Sgt. Meyer a few months back. He is an impressive normal kid in his early 20’s. He asks the right questions, is intentive, and intelligent. He likes to have a few beers when the occasion is right (as any Marine will), but there is nothing, I repeat NOTHING mentally unstable about him. And I have a great deal of experience with alcoholics and addicts. He did not strike me as someone who has a problem in that regard either.
Since when is the CMO awarded by a simpering, mincing, chimpanzee who hates whites, the US military and this formerly free republic? What next - Hanoi Jane awarding Navy Crosses?

Sounds like this might be slander and harassment. Hope he sues the pants off the Corp. that has blackballed him.
There a lot of very cruel people in the world who get off on the power to ridicule and hurt other people with a job hanging over their heads. This is what amoral humanism produces in business. There is not a void as humanists proclaim. Either a business has ethical standards or evil will fill the void.
It is absolutely shameful that we have sunk to the level of denying our greatest heroes employment because of hiring quotas or allow them to be victimized by corrupt, crooked, venal, and treasonous defense firms.
Obviously, the so-called President isn’t willing to stand up for him (what would he know about service or heroism?) but you would hope that the remaining leaders might have something to say.
I will write my Senators and Congressman about looking into this lashup and maybe if some of you did the same, we could light a fire under them all.

I think he deserves the same skepticism that every other MOH recipient deserves: He should be saluted, thanked for his sacrifice, and any SOB that challenges him should be hanged.
Too bad, he would have made a great addition to FDNY.
But after all it is more important to fill those vacancies with people who do not meet the standards without affirmative action hires, than it is to hire this hero./s/
Sounds to me like McCreight and BAE Systems are in a bad spot in most legal jurisdictions. Of course, we have selective justice in this country now so this will probably just go away.
Maybe some hiring manager who has not been castrated by the HR department can use his brain and judgement to hire Sgt. Meyer.

Since it’s the CONGRESSIONAL Medal of Honor, it is intuitively obvious that it was awarded by congress; who it was presented by is another matter.

Of course, he is accused of being mentally unstable. The problem has to be him. He’s 1) former military; 2) was part of some racist hiring thing in NYC; and 3) he DARED to question the merit of selling our tech to their terrorists.
