Seems an explosion rocked Iranian city Isfahan that houses that nations uranium conversion facility on Monday. Hmm. Big hmm. Capitalized, italicized and boldfaced HMM.
From the New York Daily News: The government of Isfahan denied reports that the explosion was linked to the nuclear site, saying it was part of a military drill north of the city.
That excuse is so weak that I think Baghdad Bob either moved to Iran or has a cousin Tehran Terry.
From the New York Daily News: One of the first reports of the blast came from Irans semi-official Fars news agency, according to the Guardian. The report was later removed from the agencys website. Residents in Isfahan called authorities after hearing the loud blast, which shook the windows of homes in the area, according to media reports. State Department spokesman Mark Toner said American officials knew little about the explosion.
Sounds Mossad-ian. Anyway, the Scorekeeper would give it a GOOD and not ask any questions.
Hat tip: Lucianne. The video is Algerian rocker Rachid Taha singing the Clashs classic Rock the Casbah. Way better.
Maybe someone forgot to put a gas cap back on?? Accidents happen for evil dictators.
Pray for America
good thing it's lyrics are benign, because he could just as easily of had them burning the city down when it was over
I saw a pair of bright satellites flying in tandem a few years ago (as bright as the Shuttle). I couldn’t find them on any of the tracking sites. If we don’t already have a suborbital bomber we should get one. We already fly B2’s and B1’s on nonstop missions from the US to points in the Middle East.
In fact I would think building a bomb that would be able to first surivie re-entry then leave no country linkable evidence after detonation would be more technically difficult than building an orbitial bomber.
What surprises me is that Obama would apparently use susch a thing against Iran. I wonder if this was Great Brittain, or even Isreal ?...
Lemme hep ya....
MOP?
The Iranian “mishap” a couple of weeks ago turned out to be multiple exploded buildings. That was either smart bombs (perhaps from something like the Global Hawk) or cruise missiles. This week’s “mishap” we don’t know what was hit yet.
