Rep. West: Cain ‘should move on’ from the race
The Hill ^ | Nov. 30, 2011 | Alicia M. Cohn

Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) said Wednesday he would advise Herman Cain to let voters “move on” from the distraction of his campaign.

Cain told his campaign this week it is time to “reassess” in light of the resurfacing of old sexual harassment allegations and new accusations this week that he carried on a 13-year affair.

"Beyond reassessing his campaign, he probably needs to understand that he is a distracter for what's going on right now and we should move on," West told WMAL’s radio show “Morning Majority.”

West, a Tea Party favorite, indicated Cain is already out of the running and the GOP nomination field has come down to “a two-man race.”

I think Cain should stay in. The only way to end the smear jobs and MSM/RINO destruction train is to stick it out and fight on.

If Cain drops out, next we will see a parade of women and young boys alleging Newt sexually assaulted them in a wild orgy. Allegations are cheap to issue and hard to fight.

Herman Cain is a minister. Ministers counsel at all hours. They offer encouragement at all hours. Nothing odd about that IMO.

So, if there’s anything to the accusations, she needs to offer proof, not vague phone records, but the content of the messages.

Unless and until these women actually offer something other than accusations, I’ll give Mr. Cain the benefit of the doubt.

As far as giving people money, he mentioned a couple of months ago that he wanted the economy to improve - one reason being he’s tired of giving people money to help make ends meet [not direct quote, but close].

Also, I can believe a scenario where he gave her money to try and help. I’ve done that myself with virtual strangers in my church, mostly to “buy food for the kids” - and some of them eventually turned on me when the money stopped.

Not saying that’s what happened here, just be careful and not so quick to throw someone under the bus due to accusations.

I hope Mr. Cain tells Allen West to “move on” from the openly racialist Congressional Black Caucus.

(That's COL. West, btw ;o)...)

Have you never heard of "Keep your friends close and your enemies closer"?

Col. West is the fox in the hen house. He tells us what's going on in there - else we would never know what they are up to until it's too late.

Believe this: the Black Caucus does not like having him here.

Respectfully, Palladin there is no evidence that any of this happened with Herman Cain. If somebody has something factual— then bring it on. This doesn’t show this at all. And all restaurant owners are not mafia (even if they might have friends to protect them-LOL- I mean really does anyone here know the extent of union organizing against restaurant owners/franchisees by the SEIU and the mob?).

Allowing the media whores(and the real sopranos of the liberal mafia media ownership, and the labor unions they and the mob cater to) and the dem/RINO operatives to make claims to bring down someone who threatens the status quo (ok-so they are afraid of a black libertarian?)is just shameful. Cain will stay in and maintain his attacks on obama— successful ones that black business owners tell me speaks to volumes of traditional black voters, who will not vote for obama given a better choice, or whom would sit out on mitt romney. But it’s a big country. If the South isn’t won the country will not be won, in anybody’s calculation.

Obama is not interested in anything but marxism. A true black conservative terrifies them all— (cause he should, in the words of billy boy clinton “obama would be serving us coffee”- a view shared by RINOs at the country club)

You will note that ALL of the accusers are white women, and all quite worthy of derision— flakes, whackos. Some kind of southern klan democrat strategy for swing white voters. Just wait, once they’ve exhausted all of the pliable white potentials with some prepayments and free legal representation, they will proceed to a black female (if one can be found- no shortage of grifters there either)and we will have another Clarence Thomas accusation.

For all the freepers reading, check out open source wikipedia on Cain: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herman_Cain

Particularly the part about defeating clintoncare. Quite telling. Romney wants obamacare- as does the establishment. We need to copy the UK, since they have been so successful.

Herman Cain should stay in to set the RINO candidates straight-—make them commit to conservative positions they do not currently have. Without it, we are guaranteed obamacare and a police state, if not a real civil war.

I hope Cain stays. I respect West, but on this point I disagree with him. I have not seen proof of an affair. But if this is a criteria, then what about Newt? His mistress problems are no secret.

Jay Leno has been hammering every day on Cain well before any allegations surfaced. Yesterday, I believe he for one of the rare times even forgot to trash Bachmann. The major part of his monolog is anti-Cain. Is there anyone who has kept track on the amount of time Leno spends obsessing about Cain?

Accusations by a homosexual guy (forgot his name0 about an affair with Obama certainly received not even a fraction of attention that those of an alleged Cain affair.

Very sage advice from Allen West.

Indeed it is.

Time for Cain - and his followers - to face reality. this race isn't all about him - and we can't afford to let it be so.

The enemy has long ago breached the ramparts, which the Sheeple are starting to realize.

We need all the focus to be on getting rid of the enemy - and this continued distraction is pushing our message off to the sidelines, which, for those who haven't noticed, is exactly what the MSM and the demRats are very happy about and are gleefully capitalizing on.

Absolute bingo on the money.

Reference my posts to Palladin. Freepers generally should be a lot sharper than to fall for counterintelligence operations, especially not ones as lame as these have been.
My contention is Cain stays in to make sure the voters who are dismayed (left and right, black and white)are informed about the reality of conservatism. This versus the lying destructive marxism of the democrats and their apparatchiks who want to destroy this country.

Using the blacks vs the whites is classic communist strategy- and they are in the ranks of obama and glad to do it, as they were in the 50’s and 60’s. The comintern is at work, possibly through our own intelligence apparatus (as in Panetta and Holder).

Welcome to the United Soviet States of America..where the Pravda State Media “vet” the candidates to the pleasure and needs of the RinoCrat UniParty.

This “election” will be a non-election...featuring the state approved “candidates”-whose only distinction is whether they are black or white.

You are right. We should all keep in mind we are not electing a saint, we are electing a person who loves America, loves the opportunity here, loves the people and wishes the best for our citizens. Someone that sees America as the best chance for a great future.

We have to quit allowing the left to destroy us. Because that is what they are doing. They tear one apart, they will tear all apart. We fight it by not playing into their smut games.

We need a person that we know will do whatever it takes, bring in talented conservatives to help restore the country.

Judging from your post to me, you obviously have nothing to bring to the table other than infantile name calling. Have a nice day.

If I thought you were eqipped to engage in debate I would have engaged. You called Rep West a useful idiot if I recall correctly...who are you to complain about infantile name calling?

When she shows the evidence, I’ll consider it.
As for the wife, I doubt she did without.
Why don’t you demand evidence before condemning cain?
Your candidate will likely get the same attacks if cain goes down.

“We should not enable the Tony Sopranos of the world, either, who cast their wives aside when they get bored, and seek out dangerous affairs with questionable partners.”

We should not enable the malevolent idiots of the world to repeat and spread lies and slander.

You opine: “So, is West working for Mitt? Is he the designated black man with Tea Party creds chosen by GOP insiders to tell Cain to get lost? I find this rather disturbing.”

How about reading the whole article before speculating?

“Gingrich reportedly mentioned West, along with Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), earlier this week as possible vice presidential candidates on his hypothetical ticket.

West said he would have to pray about and discuss the opportunity with his family, but he promised: “If I can make a difference, then I’ll answer that call.”

Get up to speed, folks. Col. West hangs out with ‘the right folks’

Scroll down for photo -

http://conservatives4palin.com/2011/05/governor-palin-roll-on-rolling-thunder.html

Now, Col. West for VP, Sarah, Energy Sec and John Bolton as attack dog on the UN

Oh, BTW, Col. West has NEVER been the “designated Black man” for anyone or anything. Guess you don’t know his life story? Guessing you don’t want to - might clash with your ‘astuteness’ in opining.

this election is not about one man. This country is is the most danger it's ever been in since it's inception.

We need all the focus to be on saving our freedoms - we can't let this valuable time to be wasted and exploited on one man. Of course, concentrating on Cain and his problems is exactly what the media and the demRats are hoping for. That leaves less time for people to learn what they need to in order to make in informed decision.

I wish Cain well - but not at the expense of this country. He has become a liability we cannot afford.
