Middlesex prosecutor Joseph P. Kennedy III — widely seen as the best hope to carry the torch of the legendary family dynasty to a new generation — told the Herald last night he is leaving the door open to a run for Congress.
“I just haven’t had the time to give it any thought, the type of careful consideration that it requires,” Kennedy said outside Cambridge District Court. “I’ve always thought politics is an honorable profession. It demands that you give it careful thought before you jump into it. When I get the time to do that, I’ll think about it, but we’re not there yet."
Kennedy — the son of former U.S. Rep. Joseph P. Kennedy II, grandson of Robert F. Kennedy and grandnephew of President John F. Kennedy — was one of several Democrats whose name has emerged as a possible contender for U.S. Rep. Barney Frank’s seat after the 16-term congressman announced his retirement two days ago.

Somebody should clearly inform this POS that it is not his grandfather's America. We don't accept his kind any more no matter what state he represents. if he runs for state office, the voters of MA are getting the leadership they deserve. I don't care.
For national office, however, he will cripple the rights of the entire country for generations.
Isn't this the whack job with mental issues, substance abuse isssues, erratic driving issues and anger management issues?

Well he does live in Massachusetts and has his whole life. Hillary didn't set up residency until she ran for the Senate.
Good Lord, please forgive me, but I’ve got to tell you the truth... I met Joe III when he was assigned briefly to Nantucket by the Cape and Islands District Attorney’s office. I was prepared to hate him. Not the case. He was smart, hard-nosed, focused and working hard to put some of society’s craphounds in jail.
I then saw him on Figawi weekend, pretty much our version of the Mardi Gras here on the island, while I was working a detail. He was sober (don’t believe he drinks at all)and he went out of his way to leave his friends to come over and say hello to me.

You don’t judge a person because of his ancestry. But before voting for the man ( assuming he runs ), be sure to find out what his POLITICAL BELIEFS are.
If it’s going to be like Barney or his uncle Ted, conservatives SHOULD NOT vote for him, no matter how upstanding a person he is.
"Kennedy" = herpes of politics. It's impossible to get rid of......
The Kennedys have a knack for associating with people who can later be bought off if need arises.
Well, it sounds like he is not a stupid drunk. Good for him.
Of course, he STILL might be a leftist...
