NEW YORK — President Barack Obama is reassuring Jewish supporters that his administration is committed to the security of Israel. He says: “We don’t compromise when it comes to Israel’s security.”
Obama was speaking to a group of campaign contributors at the Upper East Side home of Jack Rosen, a prominent businessman and chairman of the American Jewish Congress. Obama commented after Rosen mentioned “concerns” within the Jewish community about the U.S.-Israeli relationship.

i suppose this might work for O if the audience was comprised of those suffering from amnesia that covered events from January of 2009 on...........
we know he won’t compromise when it comes to Israel’s security.
They do it his way, or they go it alone.
Which is why we are going to be left out of the loop watching what Israel does, on CNN like everyone else.

LOL! Hilarious that the Democrats think Jews are that stupid. Not only is Israel "our most important ally" but that Obama "has been the most supportive ever of Israel"? OMG! I have this picture in my mind of the Jewish community bent over saying, "THANK YOU SIR MAY I HAVE ANOTHER!!"
Reporter or perhaps donor: “Mr president! Mr President! Would you care to square that statement with your past actions?” Yeah, right, like someone would actually ask him that.
I don’t think there is anything more stupid and gullible than a Jewish liberal donor to the Food Stamp President’s re-election. Well maybe there is: a Jewish liberal that would pay to attend one of the Food Stamp Preisdent’s teleprompter speeches.
Compromise with Israel’s enemies on Israel’s security which he’d pull in a heartbeat.
American Jews, willing to close their eyes and suck a certain member, forever and always. American Jews, the last ones to defend Israel. American Jews, willing to read about Israel in history books, rather than abandon Zero. They disgust me.

No background info...like how he's actually BETRAYING the state of Israel (well, unless we hear the mysterious explosions in Iran are of US origin).
That said, and I'm going to take A LOT of flak for this: I support the US support of the "Arab Spring". Maybe that's Obama policy and maybe it's left over Bush policy. I dunno.
But by allowing the people of these countries to determine their own fate, good or bad, we're on the right side of history IMHO.
Now, if they emerge as terrorist states or enemy states of any kind, we must take appropriate action to protect US and our allies interests.
Overall, Obama has not been much different on the foreign policy front than Bush...in substance.
He's been radically different than Bush in appearance and rhetoric.

Maybe you could consider it a donation to FR to come up with a witticism describing just how “sincere” Obama is being?
