I think Iowa loves the attention. With the State Fair over with, what else is there to do?

I would love to have Santorum as the nominee. Our party does not deserve such a great patriot. Sometimes I really wonder about the whole Republican Party and that includes conservatives. Even folks on this site talk the talk but NEVER walk the walk particularly for the Presidential primary. It is a travesty that both Santorum and Bachmann are not number 1 and 2 in the ranking. They always say that ANYBODY could beat Obama but when they are shown a conservative like Santorum and Bachmann , they say “Oh they can’t beat Obama”. It doesn’t make any sense at all.

You have to ignore the Perry bashers who cannot find their own candidate’s thread.

Consider the source. The Dallas Morning News. You claim to be from Texas, what's your take on that paper?
To: napscoordinator
Just having a curious thought.
I’ll say.

I finally saw my tape of Rick on Greta. She was more hostile than I’ve seen her with anyone lately.
He handled her with supreme confidence, didn’t let her rattle him, stayed pleasant and affable and didn’t let her stern, constant interruptions throw him off stride.
It was a great performance. I was proud.

Is this common campaign planning? Just wondering how Texans would take it if people from Iowa flocked into Texas to tell them how to vote.
I'm not defending Perry, but it's very common when you don't have strong local support. I made a joke that the folks of Iowa don't need Texans telling them how to vote, but seriously, you would normally prefer locals to do this kind of stuff since they are cheaper to support and know their way around. This is a sign that Perry knows he's weak in Iowa and that he needs to do something major there. Or rather this is a sign that Joe Allbaugh knows Perry is weak and needs major help in Iowa. I still don't know what he's doing in New Hampshire - he's not going to win that state, Romney will take it by hook or crook.
Obama bussed in folks to some states, George W did it as well, and Clinton did as well. Go back and look at how many people Bush and Gore shipped into Florida in 2000. Easily dwarfs Perry's campaign.
I told you all that Joe Allbaugh would get things done back when he was hired to the Perry campaign, and this is one of the first major steps. I question whether it's too little, too late, but Allbaugh is not going down without a fight.

This is so exciting reading this!
These are HUGE names, very well respected people, and it sounds like the Perry campaign and these super volunteers have a great plan to reach out to the people of Iowa!
I had heard there were some big plans in the works for December. I just didn’t know the plans were this great!
Awesome! Super! High five!
And if any of you super people are reading this thread, thank you SO much for taking your very precious time from your other duties to give such wonderful representation to Governor Rick Perry in Iowa!

“...He failed like he fails everything...”
admittedly I don't know all I should, but from what little I do know he is no failure. He has lead Texas with the best economy of the nation, a state many businesses have relocated to, individuals are flocking to, a state that is a haven for conservatism, etc.
I'm sure you have a specific in mind and would appreciate knowing of his failures.
