I listen to Omaha radio stations,(broadcasting to western Iowa too), and the only candidate with radio commercials I hear are Perry’s.

Not to worry. He did this during the straw vote in Iowa earlier in the year and he failed. He failed like he fails everything. This will be a BIG fail. Sending in his bullies to force Iowans to vote for him. That reminds me of what Obama did during the election. Where is that dang picture of Obama’s hoodlums standing guard forcing people to vote for him. I keep telling you guys that Obama and Perry are 100 percent the same but you never believe me. I don't know how much more proof you need.

plans to bring more than 600 influential Texans to Iowa this month ...That should go down like a lead balloon with Iowans. Who wants an onslaught of out of starters knocking on your door to tell you how to vote?
P-poor advice from someone in the campaign.
It also sends the appearance of his not having native Iowans on the ground.
they're likely to be looked upon like an invading army.

(WE ARE AMERICA! DONATE TO FR MORE!)
Governor Rick Perry is a great American, a veteran, a conservative, a leader, and a man of conviction and faith. He will make a fine next president of the United States of America.
He is pro-life, pro-guns, pro-family, pro-business, pro-job creation, pro-economic growth, pro-military, pro-Israel, and pro-states rights.
He is for limiting Federal power over the states and the people; for reducing the size of the Federal Government; for cutting taxes, cutting spending, repealing regulations, balancing the budget, and expanding domestic energy production.
He is for securing the border using strategic fencing, boots on the ground, and aviation assets such as Predator drones to provide real-time information to law enforcement and border patrol.
He says securing the border will be a top priority and he will have it done in his first year as president.
He is opposed to amnesty and the Federal DREAM Act.
... the 82nd Texas Legislative Session [2011] passed a strong sonogram bill, a voter-ID bill, new accountability for homeowner associations, a loser pays in frivolous lawsuits bill, defunded Planned Parenthood, and the legislature, not only balanced the budget with no new taxes, but cut total spending by 8.1%.

It’s surprising that Susan Combs is on board, for she is a former state director for Senator KBH. She did succeed Perry as agricultural commissioner in 1999.

Is this common campaign planning? Just wondering how Texans would take it if people from Iowa flocked into Texas to tell them how to vote. I can understand his hard core supporters being there, but to send out a message asking people to go there from Texas seems a bit odd.

LOL, posse is probably not a good word to use. Do the people of Iowa really need 600 Texans to tell them who to vote for? And do you really want to bring lobbyists along? Lobbyists are one of the biggest problems in Washington, and that seems a bit odd that Perry would include them.

This is so exciting reading this!
These are HUGE names, very well respected people, and it sounds like the Perry campaign and these super volunteers have a great plan to reach out to the people of Iowa!
I had heard there were some big plans in the works for December. I just didn’t know the plans were this great!
Awesome! Super! High five!
And if any of you super people are reading this thread, thank you SO much for taking your very precious time from your other duties to give such wonderful representation to Governor Rick Perry in Iowa!
