When did Obama even attempt to compromise? When the GOP compromised in the past, the only thing they got from the rats was zero, zilch, nada.

There's a video of this boob, Chrissy, at the source.

Where would America be if the original Tea Partiers (and related revolutionaries) “compromised” ‘like Americans’??

His ilk looted this country out of 16 trillion dollars, created a perpetual underclass, zombie legions of takers, and we are the ones that won’t compromise?

I think the Tea Party should compromise. Instead of fighting to the death to cut Federal Spending 30% we should compromise and accept a mere 15% next year.

Just like everything being spewed by the lefties that are out to destroy our America - only the conservatives are required to COMPROMISE. There can only be one winner in this struggle to save America and it won't include COMPROMISE.

When you get right down to it, compromise and accomodation are both forms of moral weakness.

The “no compromising” attribute of the Tea Party is what could save us. If Mitt or Newt does become president, both of whom are too liberal, then we’ll need to stack the House and Senate with Tea Party people just to keep the president in check.

It tough to lead or compromise “from the back seat of the car” as imposed by Zero.

Remember that quote ?

So why do the 20% of the population that are liberal think they have the right to tell the 80% how things are supposed to be done in a democratic/republic type society. Demorats and liberals are the ones that are un-AMERICAN!

What a bizzare statement.

The TEA party is a block of voters.
We vote for candidates, not legislation.
We apply pressure to legislators who vote to raise taxes.
We support legislators who understand that a further increase in taxes damages the country.

Is Chris Matthews suggesting the TEA party voters compromise on who they vote for?

Or is he suggesting that we abandon the application of pressure on legislators, thus making us a meaningless group?

Or does Chris Matthews misunderstand, or purposely misrepresent, who the ‘TEA party’ actually is?

Last summer, Chris said he stood alone, staring up at Mt Rushmore for two hours.

Uh ... the man has serious issues.

I don’t seem to recall Krissy Tingles blowing a fuse over “deem and pass”, “I won- I’ll trump you on that,” the passage of cap and tax, stimulus, Obamacare, Dodd-Frank, etc. with no (or almost no) Republican votes, endless Executive Orders, and on and on...

Matthews idea of compromise is like a rapist asking their victim to wear something special before their big date.

To to Matthews, “Americanism” is compromise.

That would mean that America should have compromised with Hitler. America should have compromised with the Japanese. America should have compromised with the Ku Klux Klan. America should have compromised with the Muslim terrorists before they attacked us on 9/11.

All that would have been “very American” in Matthew's view.

the American people have to decide if they want this crowd to run the country because they’re running it right now.

Oh really?

2010 budget, Crybaby Boehner caves and the Dems get higher spending and greater deficits.

Debt ceiling "crisis", Crybaby Boehner caves and the Dems get higher spending and greater deficits. which leads to...

The Stupor Committee, which leads to higher spending and greater taxes.

Now Crybaby Boehner leads the House in voting for higher immigration. Just what we need with high unemployment and a weakened economy.

It certainly doesn't look like the Tea Party is running things, it looks like the Dems are running things, and I include Boehner in this group.
