Gingrich self-destructed as Speaker and left office massively unpopular. It will be VERY easy to remind the public again of why he was so unpopular. Democrats have got to be ecstatic having this man as the GOP nominee. One reason why we can’t allow that to happen.

“It will be VERY easy to remind the public again of why he was so unpopular”

He was “unpopular” because the Dem-Run MEdia MADE HIM to be. This time, he realizes exactly what he is up against.

What are they gonna do? Air his dirty laundry?
Remember how Reagan handled that?

Democrats have got to be ecstatic having this man as the GOP nominee.

Rush brought this up today as well as the reason for wanting Herman Cain or at least one reason for wanting Herman Cain eliminated.

It will be easier to equate Newt with the booming economy of the 1990s, lower taxes and a balanced budget.

American voters are optimists, not pessimists.

Gingrich winning the presidency will destroy the Democratic Party as much as Cain or Palin combined.

Newt will squash Obama in a landslide.

People these days don't look backwards, they look forwards to the future.

Why is that, because the Dems made a big deal out of his personal life? BFD.
First of all, it don't mean nothin'.
Second, all we have to do is remind the Dems of Clinton's "personal activities" while in the Oval Office.

You know, if I found myself in complete agreement with Tom Harkin (D-Iowa)I certainly might consider reevaluating my position. Just sayin!

You are wrong. Memories are short in politics. Obama will not dare debate Gingrich because he will be made to look the fool that he is. In contrast, Obama has no fear of Milquetoast Romney.

You tell me why he was massively unpopular. He was the sole target of the entire leftist media machine for two years, an all encompassing UNTRUE barrage that makes the attacks on GWB seem tame. He was also the target for two years of trumped up FALSE ethics charges in the house (all proved to be false and only political).

Again, you tell me what did he actually do as speaker, legislatively, that was wrong. Flaming him and libeling him may have worked once, in today’s environment the spin machine can’t do it again.

rather quiet on here regarding Cain, MB, RS.

The great MITT MELT is happening. When MITT is gone, the fear of MITT is gone and people can focus on a CONSERVATIVE candidate instead of the stop-MITT candidate. I guess I’m the only one who see the possibility of a very interesting March-APril primary season.
