This is heartbreaking. All the media has to do is whackify our candidates, then the republican establishment falls in line and gives the media's propaganda credibility. For a time there, Cain was withstanding these charges. I was really hoping that we could beat the media here.

At this point, what would really make me happy is to see Santorum start rising in the polls. Or a rebirth of Bachmann's campaign.

I'm 100% committed to anybody but Romney.(and Huntsman - the media love him too much. It's creepy)

Sure, I'd take Perry or Gingrich over Obama, but I'm not exactly enthusiastic about it.

As far as I'm concerned, I stand with Herman Cain, yesterday, today and tomorrow, until he tells his supporters otherwise. I'm not about to bail on that good man. He's my candidate, until he is no longer a candidate.

There are a lot of posters here on Free Republic (and I am not going to dignify them by referring to them as 'FReepers') who are already chortling, hooting and hollering (AND, sadly are making all sorts of racist comments) at the possibility that a solid conservative candidate could be forced out of this race. They know who they are, and they may think that by joining in on this attempted lynching of a black Christian American, that it will somehow benefit THEIR candidate, and/or their own personal political agenda.

They will discover too late, what Finley Peter Dunne said:

"politics ain't beanbag", i.e., the chortles they produce today, will ultimately be echoing back like thunder right in their hypocritical faces at some future point.

We knew at the beginning, conservative values were going to be a threat to both the DNC and the RNC and things would get ugly. Well, here we are. Mr. Cain is a good, honorable man, and he does not in any way deserve what is being heaped upon his fine name and character. Every time I hear himn speak I’m renewed in my faith that he can provide the leadership our country needs right now. I can only imagine how tough this race is for him and his family, but I ask them to please stand firm, and, if they can, put their country first, and stay in the fight. If they do, I promise you, we will have their back.

the media didn’t whackify Cain, he did it to himself.

I thought this was the party of “personal responsibility”?

When will Cain be responsible for Cain’s actions?

The hypocrisy is stupendous.

All you can do is bitch about Obama and propose ridiculous, doomsday solutions.

If Cain drops out because of this BS, it means NONE of our candidates have a shot at winning..the media will know they can get away with hiring people to make up crap about anyone and they know it will work..people have to stop acting like sheep, believing everything the media tells them, but unfortunately even though there is a HUGE percentage of people who say they distrust the media, they still believe everything the media tells them

Sorry but I do not trust a Media and Press that Spin or Lie most of the time.

Think about it like a business. Would you do business with a company that spin and lied to you almost all the time?

Plus if Cain was a Democrat, then the same compliant Liberal/Socialist/Communist media and press would not say a word. You know that's true.

So don't let Tokyo Rose in the Media and Press influence you.

They FEAR Herman Cain and are throwing everything at him.

If the title is true, don’t you think that Herman Cain bears some responsibility? Even if the entire situation is completely innocent, we still ask why he kept this secret from his wife. Herman Cain created the situation.

Here's a scandal for you.

I have records of over 450 emails and multiple cell phone calls to and from a man who is not my husband!

This must be proof positive that we're having an affair, I'm sure.

[annoying buzzer] Nope. We're good friends, Hubby likes him too, and that's it. And no, he's not in my family, but I wish he were.

Herman Cain defeated Herman Cain, not the media, nor the accusations from the women. Many of us once thought he might be the one, but he proved he is not ready for prime time.

Wait a minute - we knew whis was going to get ugly and here we are. Those who have wanted Cain out of this race have pulled out all the stops. He is a proven fixer and that is what America needs.
