Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney met with former President George H.W. Bush Thursday, but Romney aides say no endorsement is coming.

The former Massachusetts governor ventured onto the turf of a rival, Texas Gov. Rick Perry, to meet with Bush and his wife, Barbara, in the living room of their Houston home.

Romney spokeswoman Gail Gitcho said Romney and the nation's 41st president are friends, but added that the visit doesn't mean Bush will endorse Romney.

Bush spokesman Jim McGrath said the meeting was a courtesy visit, noting that Bush has met with other GOP presidential hopefuls, including Jon Huntsman.

Oh, no unkus, GHWB and his “Barb” are really nice to liberals, and especially Democrats. It’s conservatives that they loathe.

Outside of politics, GHWB is a very nice gentleman.

Barbara is a bitch!

Romney visits former President George H.W. Bush

And gets it turned into a headline, to make nice with conservatives.

Meeting with "New World Order GHW Bush" is making nice with conservatives? I doubt it very much! I think this is the first time that GHW Bush has ever been indicated as a conservative. He is as liberal a NE elitist RINO as you could possibly get, along with his fat wife.

Personally I am convinced that all of the Bush's are closet supporters of the commie marxist RAT socialist bastard 0dumb0 and will vote for the RAT bastard 0dumb0 again in 2012, especially if anyone other than Romney ends up being the GOP candidate. The more conservative the GOP candidate is, or the more that a GOP candidate attacks 0dumb0, the more that the Bush's will rally to the side & even public support of 0dumb0.

GW supports Romney, Perry is to conservative for the Bush political family.

Rove has been pushing Romney for quite awhile.

It is like two camps, the Bush camp and the Perry camp.

the Bush’s have been in control of the Republican party for nearly 25 years. When Gingrich assumes office it will signal the end of the Bush era.

Mitt gave his Faith in America speech at the GHW Bush Library in Texas, with Bush attending, back in 2007. They are longtime friends.

I wondered if Williard promised if elected he’d nominate someone like David Souter to the Supreme Court

Didn’t GHWB nominate and fight for Justice Clarence Thomas? Pretty strange for a globalist, non-conservative, secret supporter of Obama, (nonsense, where do you get this?)not nice man, new world-order fiend isn’t it?

The Bush lockhold on the Republican Party in the 90s and 2000s was a disaster for limited government. Its part of the reason we are in the spending disaster that we are in today.

Yes, Justice Thomas is GHWB’s best appointment. Unfortunately, GHWB cancelled out Thomas’s vote with David Souter.

I beg to differ, but I know Barbara Bush well. Very well. She is head strong, blunt, focused, and outspoken. Funny how these traits are often admired in men but women who possess them and practice them are labeled “bitch”.

She is a lovely person and you, lonestar, do not “know her” at all.
