Military chaplains could decline to perform same-sex marriage ceremonies under a measure approved this week by the Senate.

The amendment, proposed by Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., was added Wednesday to the massive, must-pass defense spending bill. The Senate approved the spending bill Thursday night by a vote of 93-7.

Gee, they’re “allowing” people freedom of religion? How noble.

No offense intended, this just illustrates to me the importance of the 2012 election. Hussein wants to crush freedom. None of our admittedly imperfect candidates would force chaplains to do such crap—and so a “law” wouldn’t be necessary.

Hussein hates America. None of the Republicans hate America. The choice is easy.

Senate Dems pretending to veer toward the middle. An attempt to blunt the losses in the 2012 election. Do you think the American people will be that (2008) stupid again???

Some time back, a year ago? Maybe more, there was a proposal afoot to not allow military Chaplains to pray, “in Jesus’ name”. Can anybody here tell me if that became the rule or not?

The fact this even has to come up for discussion is beyond disgusting. Be that as it may, thank you Sen. Wicker.

Help me understand -the Senate passed S1887 that repeals Article 125 of the UCMJ as their Defense authorization Act.
which which if passed -allow for a service member caught
doing a stage sex act with an Army Mule to escape penalty
( unless the Mule has HIV- AIDS and transmits such to the service member—AIDs is it’s own penalty- No attorney from
PETA has yet spoken for an Mule that has gotten Aids from an
infectious service member)

Never underestimate the stupidity of the American voter. All Obama has to achieve is the perception of economic progress. That`s why I think today`s jobs report will show a (mythical) “gain” of 250,000+, and the unemployment rate will “drop” to 8.8%. With the election looming inside of a year, that number will now be continually massaged downward to below 8% by then.

quite likely ....combined with the influx of bought and paid for ‘immigrants’

You know it was the same use of ‘immigrants ‘ that won the Civil War for the North
Except this time there’s no good old Rebs to put up a fight .
Just the ever so silent ‘majority’ .....
